  1. There was an idea for a spin off for the GG group.
Where the Unity Vigil's orbital space station would be launched into space with as many people and heroes they could save. The idea behind that was the destruction of Galaxy City not being the end and the whole world was on the brink of being overrun/destroyed.

    Dear NCSoft...

I heartily agree with our dear Zortel.

NC Soft will go from a name associated with love straight through to the other side and be utterly hated.

Where some were wondering if Ellie Stoneberg was loosing her touch, nothing could be further from the truth. Well known socialite Ellie had been seen chatting with the red headed Gene for months in Pocket D, but seemingly without effect. Whether this fiery Gene was playing hard to get or the feline Ellie was enjoying the lengthy chase is unknown. Or maybe it took the double teaming with her partner Jessica Stoneberg, for the starlet to break the red head's ice. The mystical Jessica was sporting a cute Red Riding Hood outfit that suggests she might be as wild as her lover. Maybe it's a coincidence that the red planet Mars was visible in the night sky when the catgirl was seen leaving Pocket D with a fiery red head on one arm and a red magician on the other, but this reporter thinks that this girl Gene was heading for a night straight from a naughty fairy tale.

  7. Last night...

Rosa showed up for once, first time in FF, I believe. She was silly, it was fun.
When Portia came over asking if anyone'd seen a guy with a blue flower that night, Rosa mentioned she'd seen one! Before realising it wasn't that night, but more that afternoon. And that it was in an other zone, not that a specific location was mentioned.
Turned out, she had a blind date and it was a no show! How rude!
Rosa left to see if she could find him... but really went to pick a blue flower and wrap herself in shadows to make her male with a jacket to wear the flower in.
Teehee, she totally ussurped that blind date!
  8. Last night...

I uh, pretty much spaced out not long after arriving, so my appologies about Jess' nonresponsiveness and then quick get away without a word.
  9. Saturday at FF...

Jess was there for a while.. but I can't really remember what happened while she was there.

    Later, Erik showed up. Shirtless.
    Funny story that.
  10. Outbreak was a nondescript city block, much easier a 'one off' event, or even an 'once in a while' event.

    This is Galaxy City.
Unless it's open to all again after the 'invasion', it's not a one off event. It's going on, always. Like the Rikti War in the warzone.

What is the world coming too?

What ever happened to the rights of suspects? When the police arrest you, you get read your rights, you know that you're protected by them as much as you are being charged by them. Not so with our heroes, no. When a hero makes an arrest, they beat you to a pulp and teleport you to the Zig hospital, where you are read your rights upon waking up. Now, I ask you, where's the investigation into the 'arrest', where are the consequences for making a wrong bust? And if that wasn’t enough to worry law abiding citizens of Paragon, what about the humiliation tactics that some of these ‘heroes’ use to ‘enforce the law’. Being stuck in a trashcan is hardly a court approved punishment, and neither is the super strength applied wedgies that are reportedly becoming more popular.
This city is too free with its licences of super powered deputies. And as if that wasn't enough, we're giving probationary licences to the 'citizens' of what is called, the City of Villains. I can only wonder how long until I too will be too afraid to go out the front door in the city that I have called home for all my life.
  14. An article in a local tabloid.

    Collatoral damage?

When one of the latest 'savings' of a Crey Industries labratory done by members of the Unity Vigil ends up with it being shut down due to collatoral damage, one can only wonder if this was indeed collatoral damage. Was it accidental, or was it an intentional sabotage done to deminish competition for the Unity Vigil's founder Zorielle Rolando's own friend's company: Huntington Industries?
Not so, the spokesmen from the Unity Vigil and Huntington Industries would be quick to state. Too quickly, some might point out.
Sources in Crey Industries confirm that they have had such suspiscions for longer and are investigating it for merits of a lawsuit.
But beside the legal issues, the one that should be most important is the moral one, are these super powers in it for us, or for their little elite club?
  15. I have to wonder, though...
If its sole purpose is to eradicate all life... why does it talk at all? It should be calculating attack vectors and then executing them, surely?
  16. "This year, I'll try to talk them into surrendering instead of just stabbing them with my sword until they do!"

"I'm going to help out with getting the message out there!" - I just got the image of a grumpy big hero with a (too small?) sandwich board.

  18. Hmmm... Angst plots that closely affect my characters.

Tools and such powerspammers I can ignore fairly well due to practice at selective attention allocation algorithms. This also solves the casual-bad RPers.
