You know I just realized that they said they prefer action shots for the contest announcement, yet none of these are true action shots. I was a little worried about that seeing my screenshot is just a pose.

Yeah, because of that statement I tried to get a shot of my character actually doing something apart from just posing but I don't think it had anything to do with anything. I get a lot of compliments on that character but a contest like this is subjective and even I have to admit that insect themed characters aren't terribly original. I have no way of knowing if I was even in the running but if I was, I'm sure I lost some points for originality.

I like most of the winners I'm seeing - so far not a head scratcher in the bunch. Congrats, everyone!

Yeah. The one I posted was an older one of me and a team putting the beatdown on Invincible Reichsman...back before he actually WAS invincible.

Heh, this is why I decided to make sure that my entry, the Winged Man, was flying.

Well, I don't think I won anything, but I know at least one person who did. I think it might be a blessing that I didn't win the grand prize because I'd need a passport to actually act on it. XD

Little surprised, not my best shot, considering it's not of his whole costume. I was just trying to get him "in his element".

Are any of you guys confirmed as the grand prize winner? The lack of announcement and the fact that we only have about 6 people confirmed makes me wonder if there is some kind of debate still going on. I mean, why wouldn't the winners be announced already? Confirmations?

Probably just a confirmation thing. I'd very much like to see the grand prize winner, based on the quality of the other winners' entries.

Can we get a red name to maybe tell us when the announcements will be at least if not who the winners are?

The NCSoft/Paragon Studios red names probably know no more about what mmorpg.com is doing than the rest of us.

If you really want to know then I suggest asking MikeB (Michael Bitton) over at mmorpg.com; he's the one that started and ended the contest thread.

Congratulations. I knew I shoulda used an aura for my entry.

Still hate the visit Winscott mission- make it dropable, have it give actual exp or remove it altogether. PS- Down knows who you are.
