Renewal Points and Tokens
From the sound of what I read in various other topics, your rewards are applied at the END of your month for the previous month (still on the billing date), but the rewards from September were applied during the VIP Head Start.
My free Server transfer came in, it might come this weekday maybe on Tuesday or something, I am sure they won't forget us, since we are VIP and all. I guess we just have to be patience and just wait for a while.

September's points were applied at Head Start instead of renewal date.
Starting October 1, you should get your Points on the renewal date in October.
Tokens are awarded at the end of the current paid playtime. In other words, Tokens are backloaded at the end of each paid/played month. So, you should get a Token 1 month after your first renewal date after the launch of Freedom.
So, my account renewed today, and when I checked my 550 points, nor my token were applied. Does anyone have any clue how long it takes them to apply? I am not in a hurry, as there is nothing I want to purchase, I am more just curious.

Per my above post, you should get your 550 Points today. Your Token is a month away.
Exactly when today the points are applied is the question. If they haven't been applied by tomorrow morning, I'd file a Support Ticket.
I have no need for tokens till new costumes replace celestial, as I was t9 when it went live. I have points saved, but I just want to be sure I get them. Thanks for the answers all.

Wait, do we get tokens every month now? Pre-launch, they were 1-for-3-months + 1-per year, right? (like, I've been subbed since launch and I think I got 38, which was like 87/3 + 7 plus a bonus or two for owning the boxed expansion, iirc)

Besides speeding up the pace of the rewards (which encourages Freemies to spend money on Points), the top tier gets access to consumable rewards which keeps them rewarded, but not impossible to catch up with in regard to non-consumable rewards.

Although, catching up is still pretty damn long. Especially if you are right at the bottom of the ladder. I'm slightly above that, but I still calculated that it will take me three years to get to Tier 9 VIP.

Took me 7 years and a lot more than $400. With no way to lessen either of those. And it isn't either/or for you, spending more money lessens the time, more time going by lessens the money you need.

The things we got in advance for September were points and transfers, not the reward tokens. I had exactly the number of tokens when Freedom started as I did in the beta and exactly the amount all the calculators said I should.
I did not get the September token in advance. So we should get September's token on our first renewal date, not a month after.

Tokens awarded from prior to Freedom headstart were on a completely different system and have no bearing from here on out.
My account renewed on Sept. 15th. I got no Points or Token. Per my support ticket, my Token will award after the paid/played month (roughly Oct. 15th). My Sept. Points were awarded at Headstart (13th) instead of on the 15th. My next Points will be awarded at my renewal date (15th) in October.
Points are frontloaded (excluding Sept.'s being granted at headstart). Tokens are backloaded (awarded at END of month paid/played) beginning on next renewal after Headstart launch day (Sept. 13th).
Transfer tokens appear to be awarding to all on the 1st of the month.
Guess if I don't have my points by noon tomorrow then I will submit a ticket. What would be great if there was a point tracing system that would track what I have purchased, and the point balance. If there already is, let me know where I can see it.
I am pretty sure that last night I had 2550 points, and right now I still have that much even though I have already been billed for my renewal.

Why exactly does the count only start on your next renewal date? How is that okay?
It's not, it basically means that all VIP members have a null space of time when they can't earn any progress towards their veteran rewards, not on the old system, nor the new. Further, how much null time they have has nothing to do with how much they've played the game, but simply on how their billing date lines up with the release of Freedom.
Case in point, I was due my next veteran reward on 2nd October, which I will not get because of Freedom's release. Instead I ought to get a paragon reward token but, according to you, I will not get that either and will instead have to wait until 2nd of November. That is completely unfair.
If Freedom had come out on 3rd October instead of 13th September, I would have gotten my veteran reward which then would have been converted into a paragon reward token the very next day. As it stands I have to wait longer for my reward token because Freedom came out sooner.
Even more absurd is the fact that, if I'd once let my subscription lapse for 12 days, so it renewed on the 14th instead of the 2nd of each month, I would only have to wait until 14th October for my token instead of 2nd November. But because my subscription hasn't lapsed once for over 6 years, I have to wait longer.
I'm being left behind because of my loyalty to this game.

I didn't make the rules. I understand your frustration. I renewed on the 15th, and didn't get a token for the paid for month leading up to that. I'm just trying to make clear what was explained to several of us by Support.
If you don't get a Token on next renewal (which as explained to us, you wouldn't), you can always file a Support Ticket about it for clarification.

Open up the store, click on "my account", login. Now select "billing summary" tab and scroll down to the "microtransactions history" section (last 90 days).
It does list the additions, too.

Well, technically, today's not over (for me here in Central time, anyway).
