Still no vanguard Warmace?

If the tines on that mace were razor sharp you might have a point. As it is it's still a bludgeoning instrument.

And did anyone catch the MACE shown above? The mace that has BLADES on it? Blades that could easily be changed into vanguard blades? All of the "its impossible" or "this doesn't make sense" stuff goes out the window when you look at it. If any hero/villain in the game can have access to maces with blades on them through patrons, why not a vanguard version with blades?
Because the purpose of an internet forum is to rebut others' ideas of course.

A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!

There would actually be a dual-emitter, one would be the Mass Approximating Coalescent Electrogravitron (or MACE) which creates an Electrogravitic field that, as the name suggests, approximates mass. This mass could be variable, even increased mid-swing, making the weapon light to carry but heavy on impact.

The Electrogravitic field would need to be contained within a monomolecular shell with similar durability to the Vanguard shield, of course.

Just borrow from Dark Heresy, can put monofilament on blunt weapon and you just change the fluff to fit.

Like I said, I'm all for a Vanguard Mace, and even gave a suggestion for how it could be done. But yeah, like a poster above me pointed out, none of that mace is razor-thin blades of energy.

But it easily could be with one single grain of imagination.

I figured since this was a super hero MMO (you know, a game where people can shoot lasers out of their eyes and control time) that imagination would be in heavy supply. Guess not.

And yet we have a Vanguard bow. With a string attached to two razor thin planes of energy...

And some maces actually have blades along the head of the weapon. I just hope it looks better than the "tech mace".

No one pays attention to me, cause I listen to the voices in my head.

Hard to do worse.

Doing a glowy Vanguard mace is "easy." First, start with the basic design of the Vangaurd Wands... take off the giant top part. Now, create a curved surface that goes around 360 degrees but is maybe 3-4 inches away from the middle portion. On the inside create an object that coninually revolves around the "handle" with a top and bottom part that lines up with the edges of this curved surface like the Vanguard Shield. If you wish, the "energy" can be less opaque near the trailing edge of the rotating emitter.

I think that would look pretty cool.

That depends on what you want out of a mace. If all you want is conventional shapes, then yes, the Tech Mace fails. If what you want, however, is a long mace - that is to say, a long handle with the mace head far away from the hand - there are few weapons better at it. The Legacy War Mace comes close, but ALL other maces have the centre of gravity of their mace heads much closer to the arm.
