Signature story arcs

They open weekly -- only the first part is available until next week (Tuesdays is my bet for when they will regularly be released -- the first part went live Tuesday of this week). The contact is in Skyway or Cap (both marked conspicuously on your mini-map in-game). There are various rewards such as an Alignment Merit (Heroes and Villains only, of course), Reward Merits, multiple RMs, an Astral Merit, etc. The arc is level 20, but I *believe* its minimum level is lower than 20.

Actually, it is monthly.

The rewards are weekly.

There is currently 1 Arc, and only 1 part of that Arc.

The Villain side contact is Allastor, in the mid Southern end of Cap au Diablo.
I do not know where to find the Hero side contact, other than Skyway City (I think.)
On your mini map, they show up as trainer icons. (The green figure in the grey-ish circle.)

The rewards:

The first time you run any part of an Arc, you get a "free" reward table. What I mean by that is, it doesn't count towards time gates for the rewards.
After that, any part of the Arc you run will give you a table where each of the rewards can only be awarded once per week.
The rewards are:
Alignment Merit (must be that alignment to accept, Hero for Hero side, Villain for Villain side)
4x Merit Rewards (this will award you 20 merits)
Astral Merit (must be level 50 to accept)
10 Incarnate Threads (must be level 50 to accept)

I read somewhere that you can get 5 reward merits if all else is used up, but I have not witnessed this myself.
Also have read that non-VIPs can get SO Enhancements, but have not witnessed that myself.

Oh, was it monthly they are going to release each of the 7 parts? Guess it's been so long since it was announced I got confused between that and the reward gating. Thanks for straightening me out on that.

That is questionable.

I say that only because last I checked Villain side doesn't give you those to Reward Merits, and I have not heard which way is supposed to be correct - or if it is correct as is.

I've done the "arc" 20+ times now, some red and some blue, and I've gotten those 2 RMs every single time (before the reward table even appears).

(EDIT: often multiple times (3+) in a row on the same toon, and still get those 2 RMs each and every time.)

vill side does, i just ran it maybe 1.5 hours ago and i got the 2 merits, i have heard though that the villain one has been buggy with the 2 merits though

It is buggy. I've run the story on 4 heroes and 5 villains. Never yet got the 2 merits on a villain, got it all times on heroes.
