Invul: What's going on here?

Are there enemies in range to fuel Invincibility?

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

*facepalm*

No there weren't. Disregard. Sorry. :/

Just remember, it takes some serious IO slotting to get past the soft-cap with Invul, but it most certainly can be done.

My main, Beorn (an Invul/Energy tank on Virtue) with 1 enemy in range is at 51% S/L and 48% for E/NE. However, it takes a full 8 enemies to get F/C to the soft cap. You kind of have to decide what you think you'll encounter most.

Yeah Invuln is a bit of a mixed bag, but once you start shoring up your defense with a little slotting, its just a beast, and I agree with most others, its probably next to granite in terms of survival. I honestly never thought i'd say that. but I came into the game during the dark ages, IE, After the GDN and ED and before IO's .. bad bad times.

My current Invuln/SS with just a single enemy buffing Invinicibility, has 46% defense to all but psi.

To echo all those years of playing Unreal Tournement.... GODLIKE!

Actually, I'd like to ask a question to you guys. I can actually slot the Gladiator +3% defense into my build and pull him up to 50% defense to all. You think its worth chasing down one of those? or just leave it as it is. So far I haven't run into any problems, but eh, you never know whats around the corner

Only you can answer that question, it is worth the 1,5billion inf to have 50% defense?

Personaly, not in a freaking livetime i would ever buy that IO, i rather grab 37.5% recharge and pop a purple once in a while.

The question is do you have 2.5 - 3 billion influence to spend on one enhancement? Or 35 Alignment Merits?

Frankly except for the Incarnate trials more than 45% defense is pointless in 99.9% of the game, and the times it may be useful the bonus tohit you're facing is simply too much for another 3% to help much (DE Quartz pets come to mind).

Personally I wouldn't get it; with that influence I could fully outfit four level 50's nicely, two with optimal builds or one with a monster build.

If you've got the ability to get it and no great desire to spend the inf or a-merits elsewhere, then I would pick it up and modify the build to hit 45% S/L/E/N/F/C. I'd probably try to pick up more recharge.

If its your main toon then I would go for it, using alignment merits, but if its not then I wouldn't bother unless you are supper rich.

That extra +3 allows you to change some IO slotting around and move some IO slotting for more recharge, HP/Regen or PSI protection.

Not to mention it would give you a bit more for Psi defense.

Its a nice Io for most builds but I save it for my main ones.

Freedom Server - Main = Lil Bug & way too many alts to list

As a note, am's are looking to be a lot easier to get with the signature arcs coming out.

Considering how many I have, (I am moving away from Inf as my primary currency) I call this a good thing.

30 Alignment Merits, not 35.

Nope. They're all 30. Purples have a 20-25 spread, but PVPs are all the same price.

Shield Wall's unique is 35.

Unless the price dropped and no one has updated the Wiki. I have only ever bought two Galdiator's so never looked at shield wall myself.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

Tried to use the tank as a lead tank in a quite understaffed BAF, did faceplant a couple of times, but weather or not that 3% would of made a difference, I am uncertain
