Ok.
1) Delete! If she is not using the account then there is no need for her toons.
2) Delete! Your toon if she buys your account, assuming you were paying for it.
3) Delete! Her toons if you buy her account, assuming she was paying for it.
4) Joint Custody Battle! She gets or you get alternating weekends!
5) Use her toons, sully her reputation so other will never play with her again, thus allowing for deletion of her toons by her own accord. (This will make you a "Pancake" but thats love and war)
6) Get her a Wii....Girls apparently love Wii. I don't...and I don't get it, but it may pacify her!
7) Assassination (Not the best option...think of something else)
8) Give her the Flat Screen in the den? She know it will hurt you.
9) Change the password!
I would say just carry on. If you both have a passion for the game and you both are using the same master account, maybe just one person give the other their subscription fee monthly.
I say take the high road, the whole "QQ we broke up so I delete all ur st00f" thing is amazingly petty and, especially when you're passionate about a game (as I have found myself to be about CoH) something as small as deleting an avatar (or to put it in perspective, something that has been your alter ego for x amount of years) can lead to a whole long road of nastiness

Whomever paid gets full run of the account. If it was her, you're SOL she has keepsies. If you pay, change your password and if her characters have some sort of ill sentimentality for you, delete them. Its not exactly hard to hit 50 and get decked out in the best enhancements these days anyhow.
Account sharing is against ToS anyway and it was a foolish move, but I see you've already made a decision.
