"just" beam rifle and time manipulation.

plus the powerset proliferation (new: darkness manipulation for blasters).

I just went through the tutorial, its cute, makes me think of a low-cost version of CO's one.

Atlas seems to be slightly different. I loged off after the contact asked me for 5 Hellions.
Is there a real overhaul of the leveling process or is it just really the same pathes? I mean, like Cataclysm on WoW really made it worth leveling all again from level 1.

The stories are WAY different past that first mission. I've found them rewarding.

Fly/Super Jump/Teleport/Super Speed are now available at level 4 for everyone.
There's a new Tier 5 (must be 14+ and have two powers from the pool already) power in the travel power pools (Fly has Afterburner which makes you go past the fly speed cap, SJ has a watered down shield charge clone, Teleport has a power that lets you jump to a list of zones directly, super speed has a power that instantly recharges all your primary/secondary powers).

Patrons/APPs now unlock at level 35.

The other pool powers haven't been changed (might have been some minor tweaks I missed, but definitely nothing big).

Various other powers have been tweaked/modified, plus a much of sets have been proliferated.

The hunting missions aren't the same as the original hunting missions. You're led to a specific area containing the specific mobs you need, which respawn on a very short timer. You don't need to run around looking for Hellions (which, admittedly, were already pretty commonplace in Old Atlas) like you used to.

And yeah, the missions beyond that are quite a bit different from the old-style "enter cave, punch dudes, win" missions.

Also there's supposedly some mechanic about being able to clear a zone of badguys and have longbow spawn instead so you feel like you accomplished something.

I haven't tested this yet but heard people askign about the message it gives on teams about a shared world or something.

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

A low cost version of CO's tutorial would begin as follows:

You are in an open field west of a big white house with a boarded
front door.
There is a small mailbox here.

Fortunately the new CoX tutorial has one-upped that considerably.

Well let's see, you logged off after completing less than one mission on the first arc. Why don't you tell us whether it's different or not?

Boo, I was hoping to pick First Aid and Tough without having to pick a Tier 1 or Tier 2 power similar to the Travel powers, haha.

Agreed. And I'd like the option to pick the first three powers (rather than just the first two) of those epic power pools as well.
