Positron said that some people will have to be not working at Paragon Studios for the power slide to be made available on the Paragon Market.
I like Kal's Idea. Power Slide remains exclusive and purple, a new purchaseable, tintable power similar to it but with more up to date sfx can go up for sale.

I was thinking more theoretically than practically, obviously if the boss says no, the answer is no. I ain't fighting the boss.
I don't want my one character bumped back to level one and dressed permanently in a bunny suit anymore than anyone else does.

Well, years ago, I bought this game right before Christmas just to have something do over the break.
It looked like a fun game, and at the time, I had no idea it was anything special. Heck, I didn't even know it was an MMO; didn't even know there was any such thing.
I've rolled countless toons, and with the exception of one concept toon, none of them use the "prestigious power slide".
That trail at their feet had always bothered me, and that there was no special reason that they should be able to glide, I never used it.
I wish I could hand it off like a set of Fairy Wings, as I'm pretty sure I'll never use those either.

Just thought I'd mention that I managed to get hold of the EU Deluxe version, all nicely plastic wrapped and never used. I tried to upgrade my account but it just asks for new account details 
Previously (well, with the GvE package anyway) you got the option to upgrade your account.
I have logged a support call to see if I can get it added. Will let you know what happens.

It didn't.
But Support here are great, I've filed a few tickets, and they always get back to me instantly, and are very nice about fixing things (Although, I swear they must be in their offices thinking "This guy? Again!? How stupid can one user be!") So they fixed that really fast for me.
In short, Yay for NCsoft and Paragon Studios support!

I admit I only scanned this thread so if someone already suggested / predicted this my apologies.
I would say that the solution is / will be to create an 'almost' identical power and put it on the market. Look at the similarities of some of the auras. Promise kept, wanters satisfied and duly exploited, everybody happy.
I once bought a hand painted extremely limited edtion super lithographeded 'cel' from a famous animated movie for $$$$ (boy it was nice to be able to work and have $$$$) from the exclusive gallery inside a park that will remain nameless.
A few years later at the same park in a different, less pretencious, gallery I saw what was effectivly the exact same scene and character pose in the exact same size (very large) for $$$ (less than 1/10 what I had paid.) I asked the salesman what was the explanation for this incredible disparity? "Oh that is just a simple lithograph." he replied, it will have no effect on the value of Your exclusive item.
After I got the third major illness and we started trying to sell everything we could I put that exclusive cel on an auction site. Top bid was $$$, less that 1/10 original. So those of you considering the purchase of a sealed box just be prepared to take your whipping and smile. My cel is back over the fireplace and it still looks Great!

PS: The cel craze of course has run its course. The type of buyer backstabs like the one I described went a long way to helping kill it. So I learned a double lesson with regard to any 'created' collectible. Pretty much anything 'made' in a 'limited edition' is one heck of a gamble with the end consumer on the very short end of long odds. J
Power Slide does look cool and all. And I'm glad I have it.....And since i play on CoV a lot. MuHuhahahah you can't have one!!!!! HoHohOhohohhhahahaha!!!
