nc soft launcher is not working

When i click on the ncsoft launcher ...either it does not click on or i get an access denied message. Any one else having this problem or does anyone know how to fix it??

I'm having this issue as well. Although, when I click it I get taken to the beta. Unable to log in multiple accounts.

When I try to open the launcher, it wont launch at all. This was after the latest update.

Something is wrong with the launcher.

There was some wierd update last night, my 2nd computer having the same problem now. Wierd part that it gave a popup it needed a restart, but it never game back.

I fixed it on my main computer cheaply, reinstall of the launcher.

Yup, same here. It worked all weekend. When i turned on my computer my firewall had a warning that the launcer had been changed. It would not open no matter what I tried. Very frustrating

I have have the following message:
The NClauncher was unable to reach the web address "launcher.ncsoft.com". This could cause unexpected issues to occur with NCLauncher. If this problem persists, please contact NCsoft Customer Support for assistance.

So I guess there is a problem! I hope this problem is fixed soon. I will contact the customer supoort soon.
First the launcher didn't give any reaction at all.... After turning the computer on and of a few times I got the message above.

I sent ncsoft an email about the problem and they sent me a diagnostic program that checks connectivity. I am at work right now so i have not tried it yet but after seeing many other people having the same problem i doubt thats the problem.
I sent ncsoft support another email telling them that others are having this issue. hopefully it gets resolved soon.

An SG mate of mine was having this problem last night. I had him open Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and find the NCSoftLauncher process and end it, then restart the launcher. Worked fine after that.

My laucher started having issues right after the new update as well.
So far none of what was suggested has wroked. I haven't reloaded launcher yet just being slow about finding the link. I ll try that.
I hope that NCSoft addresses this issue promptly.
Last night after about 30mins it seemingly self healed itself. Today having same issues as last night, so I can hope after 30mins it fixes itself.
Today I did notice that it seems to be laoding in slow motion.

I went to the Task Manager and killed the processes (NC Soft Launcher) and it started right up after that.

I noticed the launcher patched itself when I fired it up (haven't played in a few days so don't know when it really happened).

Now when the launcher patches itself it goes through this boot strap process of launching a copy of itself to do the patch and then that copy launches the newly patched launcher (I have to clear it with ZoneAlarm so I notice these things).

even trying the above mentioned "fix" the problem persists. I am able to launch the launcher after killing it in the taskamanager. but then i have to force launch, it doesn't want to update...

just like some of the other i as well am not being able get the NC launcher to open. I am being able to work around by going into all programs and selecting the games main program listing. this has been going on for the last week and figured i give some time for you guys to fix it but it seems to be an on going issue.

What I've noticed is that the NCsoft Launcher will run like is usualy does in the task tray. I use to be able to double click on the short-cut on my desktop and it would open the Launcher regaurdless if it was already running in the task tray. Now when I double click on the desktop short-cut it does nothing, if the Launcher is already running in the task tray. I've found I can either open it from the task tray or close it then double click on the short-cut.

I am also having trouble getting into City of Heroes. At first the NCsoft Launcher was not working. So i double checked and removed it from the tool bar and tried to access it that was a no go. Then I removed the NCsoft launcher and re-installed where I got a File error. So I deleted the file and the downloaded proceeded as normal. When I started up the Launcher I received a series of odd errors and then it took me to the log in screen. There was a weird little message about my Drivers for my graphics card on the bottom but the graphic card has never been an issue before. So I try to log in anyway and the whole things freezes up! So i {ctrl+alt+del} and end program. Uninstall everything and reload everything (game and launcher) and still had the same errors! I would really like this issue addressed and fixed. I paid for a years worth and am losing out on the time I paid for.

Howdy, I was having this issue for a couple of days. Killing the process via the task manager didn't help, nor did an uninstall/reinstall of the NCsoft Launcher.

I also saw I was having issues with Steam so a friend suggested I DL and run a tool from Kapersy, TDSS killer, it can be found at:

Ran and it found something. Rebooted and my new installation of the NCSoft launcher (and Steam) connected with no problem.

Worth checking out if you're still having problems.
