Any particular reason you didn't let us know about the downtime for this?
im hoping it fixed the retarded buff icon bug where they are clear and auto/toggle powers will randomly appear and disappear from your buff icons
How about the, "Get kicked off of and blacklisted from rejoining Incarnate Trials 30% of the time"?

I don't think so. I think map/powers optimizations mean graphic lag, not UI display issues. I do hope they fix the team display bug soon, it's really annoying. It should be a priority, imo.
Any chance the players could get an update what the status of the team display issue is? Still chasing it down? Fix on the way? No clue?

Sure wish these notes were a little bit more specific. I'd like a simplified version of why they're making these changes and not addressing things like icons disappearing and teammates being greyed out when you're on the same map/mission. I have no doubt there is a reason for all these patches, but it'd be great if y'all could fix the little screwups they've caused.

The second stress test on Test server yesterday saw almost no lag at all on the BAF - Dark Watcher said that they'd done something to the ragdoll system which has helped to cut down on lag.

I am unable to log in reliably since this latest patch. I've tried multiple characters on multiple servers (including the Training Room) and various zones but have only managed to make it in game twice in well over 50 tries. And in both of those cases the first time I tried to re-enter a zone after being on an instanced map, I timed out on zoning and was logged out.
My internet tests out as fine, as does my machine. I am also able to log into Beta with no problem (I tried multiple characters with multiple zonings). When on I was able to play with no noticeable performance issues. As far as I know the Beta and TR servers are in the same location and so should share the same network path. So it appears to be the patch.
Is anyone else having issues?

I hope this means they've found a way to make that warehouse map bearable. Would make Lambda a lot easier.

Although I haven't tried a Lambda, a normal mish with this map is now bearable.
Not perfect (still has lower than normal frame rates and I HATE those patches on the floor that are bleach white), but a tremendous improvement.

The Devs make decisions all the time about whether to allow a patch to go live that might "break" something, but would fix way more than it breaks, all the time. If the greyed out teammate was a game breaker, they wouldn't have let it go.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
The team UI bug is a recognized issue, and from what I could gather a pretty high priority one, and they've been looking for a fix ever since they broke it in the first place. However, considering how City of Heroes is MASSIVE project with millions of lines of code, likely in a combination of different languages, with both server and client sections, tracking down the EXACT issue which caused the problem takes time. The fix itself might take seconds to implement, but identifying the cause could take weeks.
I know that's not what people want to hear, but from my point of view the important thing is that it's a recognized issue and one that's being looked into, rather than simply being ignored as a minor inconvenience.
I have now crashed to the log in screen four times since the patch today. Every time it happens I am trying to zone and it has happened twice now just trying to log back into the game. *sigh*

[Edit:] I just managed to get in on a Pinnacle toon. Unfortunately, it's not a toon I want to play, naturally. I picked him because he was parked in the Croatoa Midnighters' Club, which I figured would have the easiest load possible.
[Edit 2:] Just got mapserved trying to get into Talos on Pinnacle. I thought I was going to make it, as it loaded further than usual (about 40%) before kicking me back to the login screen.

I verified all files and changed from windowed mode to a normal resolution and seem to be having more luck.

Having the same issue after Tuesday morning's patch. I try to log in and it get to character selection, select a character and as it's loading into the zone it sends me back to the login screen. Then tells me that my account is already logged in.
It does this about 75% of the time. So much for server stability.
For those having issues with it bombing out while logging in/zoning, try opening up the Task Manager and Under "Processes" right-click on "cityofheroes.exe" and make sure "Set Priority" is set to Normal. I was having this problem and discovered that it was set to "below nornal". I reset the priority level, and I don't have this issue anymore.
