How many people has the Punisher killed since his start in Marvel? Would you believe 48,502? Talk about your serial killer!

Although my favorite kill was that of one Stilt-Man.....IMO it gave a new definition to the phrase "crotch rocket"......lol

And how much friendly fire was there? I doubt he could kill that many without hitting a few innocent bystanders.

My favorite Punisher kill was from the Punisher: War Zone film.

Parkour + Rocket = PULL!!! *BOOMSPLAT!*

And it was just so out of left field that I couldn't stop laughing. Had to leave the theater.

Read the Punisher War Journal. He takes great care to avoid friendly fire. Although a lot of his ops look like chaos, he puts a lot of planning into them.

No matter how good he is at planning, there is always that one variable he can't account for. After all he is a regular person with no special powers so it is possible that some child of a henchmen wants to see daddy work, but the Punisher comes to visit. Or some other plausible story about bystanders being where they shouldn't. Might be possible to kill that many without killing a bystander with a bow or pistol, but when explosions and machine guns are involved, no amount of planning can keep bystanders safe if they are in the area.

This is Marvel though, they claim that the Hulk never once killed an innocent bystander in all of his rampages (and only killed like, one or two villains).

DC does the same thing.

Or do you think all those buildings that got destroyed with Superman battling Darkseid in JLU were empty?

Do they? I don't recall hearing a statement in the shows saying nobody was killed. It's one thing not to mention any collateral casualties... it's another thing to say there are no collateral casualties.

Maybe Superman has a teleport civilians to safety power. Although, more likely there is a highly advanced evacuation system in effect. Civilians don't survive long in a Comic Book Universe unless there is some way to get away from the surroundings as fast as possible.

So your saying there's a conspiracy going on to cover up all the accidental deaths caused by costumed vigilantes.

Either that or it amounts to the same thing as when Superman needs to go to the bathroom.

I remember in Patton Oswalt's JLA Welcome to the Working Week One-Shot that they did something like to this. Teleported a whole town's population into the WatchTower space station before taking on the alien invaders that crashed into it.

Then the JLA must have Teleporters that put anything from Star Trek to shame. I don't recall more than say a dozen or so being Teleported at any one time in trek

The Original Series and Voyager had instances where they transported off the crew of Klingon ships. So at least 200 people. Might be more instances in the novels, but mass teleportation is too dangerous unless absolutely necessary.

I also believe they had multiple transporter bays.

It's only as dangerous as the writer imagines it to be.

I would imagine that they simply don't use the cargo transporters to move people unless it's a life-or-death situation. They *DO* have cargo transporters. They were located on decks 10 and 23 on the original Enterprise. Also, deck 8 had 3 emergency transporter rooms with 22 pads each.
(I just checked the blueprints. )

All that fancy technology yet there was not one toilet anywhere to be found.
