Eighty-seven months is coming up soon. Pretty unlikely that Freedom will be Live by then. Speculation on contents?

I'm imagining new badge, and another respec.

The ability to trade incarnate components freely between all of your characters.

My first guess is a lump sum of Paragon Points. My second guess is all Incarnate costume pieces unlocked.

So long as they kept the Freedom store well-stocked with good things, I would be okay with them just awarding PP in lieu of an item from time to time. And I agree that it's fine as a placeholder for now. It will be interesting to see the dichotomy between what we can purchase with Vet tokens, and what we can purchase with PPs.

Probably only because I've worked really, really, really hard to unlock the three tiny pieces I've got so far. *sigh* Still, I wouldn't be averse to a merit award, like six to spend as the user wishes, if it weren't for the fact that you can be an 87 month player without necessarily being an Incarnate player.

I'm guessing neither of these things, but I will headdesk SO HARD if the second one comes to pass. And since it's not a month divisible by 9, I don't think there'll be a respec token this go round either.

I'm thinking bonus Paragon Reward Tokens for CoH Freedom's release, if anything aside from the badge.

- The 4th vet power from the 12, 33 and 54(?) month power choices.
- The other 4 year buffing pet (pick Shield Oscillator to go with Power Oscillator).
- The ability to use Assemble the Team and Reveal on incarnate trials.

Dear God, I'd love if people could use Assemble the Team on incarnate trials. I don't know how useful reveal would be, but even though I have a year before I get ATT myself under the old system, I'd LOVE it if others could use it.

When thinking about the question, I tried to think of things that were slightly to probably unlikely but appear to have a low overhead in terms of the devs being able to make a badge unlock it. I have to believe that everyone at Paragon Studios, including the overnight cleaning crew, are 125% involved in Issue 21 and Freedom so it would have to be "easy to do," and unlocking a couple of costume pieces seemed easy enough.

I don't like the idea either of unlocking them either, but it seemed like a possibility in my head.

Enough said, I'm sold on it. The only thing better than F2P mounts for VIPS is F2P mounts for Veteran VIPs.

I'm guessing the remote Vault, but I'll only be at the 78 month Vet badge on Aug 12.

Edit: Of course, the 87 month vet reward might not have anything attached to it at this time.

I dunno. I think "seven years" was a good number for them to terminate and reinvent the veteran reward system to use the new Paragon Store thingy. I'll holler out if I find out otherwise, though.

I got it by the time I logged on last night. Is indeed the /vault ability; semi useful but not as much as /ah IMO.

It's a good 10 days before I "normally" would have gotten it, but it's actually on par with what I *should* have always gotten them I believe.

So, remote access to the vault, then? Just salvage, yeah?

I never keep salvage I can't immediately use. I can always turn a profit on it at the CH.
