Have done two runs. It's decent, I don't like the damage pulses so much though. But still reasonably fun.
Heroes : Angrem (50 Stone tank), Exo Inferis (50 Fire blaster), Exo Proteus (50 ill/emp), IceVengance (50 cold defender)
Villains : AtomBomb (50 Rad/Kin corruptor), Aleks (50 SS/Inv brute), StoneLethal (50 EM/Stone brute), Davroz (50 Bots/Dark mastermind)
After being frustrated with a failed run plus lack of interest on my home server, I paid Virtue a visit and had great fun leading a PuG league to success last night 
Just wanna say Virtue is a kewl place and the players were very awesome at getting through the trial even though no one on my league had done it before.

Joined a PuG, everyone ran all over the map, died a lot, kept hogging power cells and taking shots at AM, half my team quit before the third phase, we never managed to take down AM. Waiting a week or two before trying again so I have a better chance at teaming with competent people.

Within reason, that is. Still SOME headless chicken running, but I'm still getting this trial down.
I ran one. It'll be the ONLY one I'll ever run. 90 minutes of my life and a common component? F*** that. I'll stick to BAF's.

Ran one last night and was successful. Interesting mechanics in the trial.

Ran several PuG and Channel Preform -- all successful. Didn't run into the issue of people attacking AM, didn't run into Tanks that couldn't tank, so it was overall very fun. People just need a bit of direction -- Keyes dumps a lot of info really fast.

I'm trying to figure out *why* anyone would want to run it beyond doing it because you've never done it before. The drop at the end is the same as BAF or Lambda, but requires a much bigger time sink/risk. It's not an efficient way to get threads or a chance at a very rare.
The dev team needs to consider the risk/time:reward ratio and adjust accordingly or else BAF will be the only thing anyone ever runs.
For fun-factor, I'd say it definitely has a lot more of that in spades.
But yeah, for farmability, the BAF is certainly the route to take. Upping the amount of Emps you can get out of a Keyes could certainly remedy that though.

Still miles better than Lambda, though.
Then again, dragging my tender extremities through broken glass, rusty nails, and syringes full of AIDS is miles better than Lambda, so that isn't saying much.

I enjoyed the one I was in last night, despite a lot of headless chicken running. Or maybe it was more like herding cats... I didn't know what I was doing at first, lag from all those people (must remember to set settings down before doing it again) made me kind of confused what was going on at first, but I caught on eventually. In the end, I had fun and got prizes, so all was good. I look forward to another.
