Silent Blade Questions

Hello.

I have an idea for a story involving Silent Blade.

But Paragon Wiki doesn't have a lot of information on her.

Do we know her real name? Age? Family?

Any information would be welcome.

Thanks.

Apart from what little the Wiki has?

Her dad and sister are still alive. That's about it. So the rest is pretty much up to you.

Go for it!

Also, her dad had apparently kept some horrible truth from her and her sister for a long time.

She is also a horrible stalker given that she doesn't have hide.

If you play the Villain Morality mission for level 20's, you learn a lot about her, including her real name and her father's name. (Who you end up killing.)

See if I can find it...

Ah...

Father's name: Mitsumoto Hagashi
Her name: Yurika Hagashi

Help yourself.

And she should get a better costume.

I don't think that's quite covered.
though if i had to guess, I'd say it would be natural.

And her sister (who is trying to flee/has fled the Whispering Hand) has the codename Swift Cut, doesn't she?

Still working on my story idea.

Did anyone else know that the Hmong are traditionally considered Chinese or Vietnamese, but Silent Blade and her father's names are Japanese?

She has ZERO romantic involvement with Positron. In any dimension.

NOW go for it!

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

The devs can start making some background for her, and a new costume.
Cant believe the ugly cheap costumes some NPCs wear...

I'm not sure if Silent Blade and her family are really Tsoo associated outside of Silent blade's assassin group being made up of Tsoo at the mid-range level tips.

Though this hasn't been the first time the Devs seem to have forgotten that the Tsoo are Hmong. A lot of things of theirs seem Japanese (the swords, the tattoo styles, the Han'nya masks), they seem to have a few Chinese elements, namely in the shape of their sai, and a boss in radio missions named "Katana".

This maybe what resulted in one vilgilante to villain alignment mission having the Tsoo spawns ALWAYS and FREQUENTLY refer to themselves as "The Hmong Tsoo" as though they needed to remind both the player and themselves.

Though it maybe likely the Tsoo have been willing to draw on other Asian Ethnic groups in Paragon, because seriously, with the numbers you see in the average mission, about the entirety of the Hmong people across the globe would be locked up in the Zig.

The sheer numbers it takes for them to continually menace Serge while players unlock a costume slot are staggering, much less what it takes to perform their criminal enterprises.

Yeah, I always considered the Tsoo to be Hmong at its core, but otherwise Asian culturally diverse, thus a mention in a ninja character of mine's bio about a passing familiarity with them.

That seems to be the case. According to the Paragonwiki

The Tsoo emerged on the scene in the late 1990s as a small but unified bunch under the leadership of Tub Ci, a brutal and calculating drug lord recently released from prison. Tub Ci claimed to have found his spirituality in prison – but it was the legacy of a warlord – and he named his group after a word that he defined as “the destroyers.” Independence Port and Talos Island were under the thumb of Hong Kong-born Triads at the time, who harshly exploited other Asian minorities in the area, but this wouldn’t last for much longer.

Tub Ci claimed he could no longer see his people, the Hmong, suffer; and while there was some truth to his outrage over the hardships they faced beneath the Triads he was certainly not motivated by altruism. Tub Ci’s ambitions were grand, and his Tsoo were a fearsome lot, heavily inscribed with mystical tattoos that gave them super-powered abilities. His lieutenants, the cruel sorcerers, were his most trusted brothers, many of whom had spent time with Tub Ci in prison. And when their martial arts, gun and sword play, and magics were not enough, Tub Ci showed his sorcerers how to reinforce their ranks with ghostly warriors they claimed as their literal ancestors. They broke the backs of the ruling Triads and slipped into power.

The Tsoo wanted nothing less than to control all of the drug trade and protection rackets in Paragon City. However, the Rikti War forced them into the simple task of survival for a time. They refused to aid the heroes, and they certainly would never help another gang, but they did do what they could for the people under their “protection.”

When the war finally ended, Tub Ci consolidated his forces in the regions of Talos Island, Independence Port, and Steel Canyon. They basically own the drug business, gambling dens, and protection racket in those areas. They celebrate their domination regularly, with loud, raucous parties held throughout the month. These parties are usually held in abandoned warehouses or empty lots in bad neighborhoods – deep within Tsoo territory. Sometimes the parties devolve into blood sports, where both men and women participate in no-holds-barred scraps, earning prestige and glory among the streets. Offering a heady mix of drugs, flesh, and violence, the Tsoo gatherings act as magnets for those drawn to their dark lifestyle, and Tub Ci craftily uses them as a constant “recruitment drive” to bolster his ranks.

Tub Ci’s great plans are still shrouded in mystery, but expansion of the gang is key. Many of the new members reflect the current trends of Paragon City, wearing the latest fashions, listening to the coolest music, using the edgiest drugs. They see themselves as young, hip, veterans of the last great war, and that simply surviving means they are special. They swagger through their neighborhoods with pistols tucked into belts, and often strapped with ancient weapons. Tub Ci is a true artist, and his work spreads across a living canvas.
I have no doubt they are the gateway for _any_ Asian influence in Paragon, including the Yakuza and any other Asian... interests.

Remember, Paragon is in a different world. A world where Rhode Island is their New York due to a few trade deals early on. A world where the mafia families had (or developed) mutant powers keeping them in their positions. In this world the Tsoo seemed to overtake the Triads and probably even the influence of the Yakuza at the time.

Something to keep in mind with your story. Hope I've helped!

EDIT: Spoilers!

In the upper levels she's seen with the Knives of Artemis. She may have been guided by them all along to be a new 'sister' in their ranks, though it is neither confirmed nor denied.

I couldn't agree more.

Perhaps there has been a schism or diversification among the Tsoo to include chapters from other Asian nations/ethnicities?

No, no, that was a RULE, not a hint. Hands off of Posi; other than THAT, go for it.

I have no desire for anyone to see if a woman scorned is as bad as they say.

I want to know why she's trying to kill my hero in both morality missions.

I admit, with some shame, that Silent Blade's costume is an almost exact duplicate of my first villain's first costume (although I had it in dark purple). I've gotten better since then.
