Oh no the global is fine (@TiredAngel2) - its the actual account name I use to log into the game with has has changed not the global because that matches the trial account.

Survived too. I guess it has advantages if you pick your name from an old cyberpunk RPG

Pleased my global has survived... despite the fact that there appears to be a Psygon on every server!

My main account global remains @Kallandra, but someone decided to use my character name on Freedom and Virtue >.<

If they're roleplayers I sincerely hope they don't run in to the -real- Kallandra.

I've since felt the need to go to every other server and put my main character on them. I feel... meh

I've tried to do the same, there's at least 5 different globals using a toon called Coin on the old US Servers so far, I feel so.....un-special

I wouldn't feel as bad maybe, but the name Kallandra was taken from a pen and paper roleplay campaign run by a friend of mine over 12 years ago. It's my name dammit! I even have written permission from the GM to use it! I wonder if whoever else is using it thought of it themselves or saw mine on the forum and thought "Hey that's a nice name for a character..." Yoink

Yes! Even though my global is from history... and I know there are versions of that name on every server... it survived as my global.

Survived with account name and global intact.

I know several people who haven't though.

And I'm still not happy about the way it was handled.

Both my accounts logins and globals have softcapped rename defence and thus sauntered through this without a scratch.
