Actually, the Devs *fully* expected this.

In early pre-Beta, before we even had the Alpha shift, we were able to get into a groove in completing the iTrials after a few weeks of 50/50 defeats with minimum sized teams.

Throw in +3s and access to 4 Incarnate Powers, well, it becomes easy mode.

So, when certain folks were howling to high heaven that it was too hard, the Devs very purposely ignored them because they knew *factually* that that was not the case.

They knew it would be duo'd and as is happening on Virtue, 'Speed Runs' of Lambda. That's why Tier 4 was gated behind Very Rare drops and time-gated Empyrean Merits.

Exactly. The content is supposed to be hard....at first. And as you get more OP the content starts feeling trivial....then they release more content and the cycle starts over. I've noticed with my MMO experience that most new content is hard/v-hard at first due to lack of knowledge or gear/abilities. As you get the rewards that the new content gives, it becomes a LOT easier due to you being more powerful and knowing how to beat it properly.

Annnnndddd what do your macros do?
Just for talking in channels "lvl" however does this:
Congratulatoins!! Your combat level improved!! Seek a trainer to further your abilities!!

Oooooooo, speed runs gotta start doing that. I hate how people always kill all those damn towns and stuff. Of course, fact you dont get the time/deaths etc really sucks so whats the point?

The content wasn't even hard on first day. It was mostly hype from beta testers, who claimed that the mobs hit harder than in normal content, that you needed to follow certain strategies or have specific ATs. Thankfully it all proved to be ********.

I still feel so very silly for mindlessly buying the words of people who probably have trouble taking on an archvillain or starting a TF without a tanker and a debuffer.

There is such thing as Level Shift Inspirations?? You eat one and you are +1 for 60s? wow?

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Only way to get them is insp drops on trial completion, and they have a lower drop rate than the "normal" super inspirations.

Congratulations! Awesome work!

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
