Discussion: Ten Ton Hammer Q&A with Tim Sweeney
The article says he drops some hints about I21, but I can't seem to find any.

"the bag of tricks we’ve given the bosses is greatly expanded in Issue 20 and will only keep getting more and more interesting as we grow the game." |

I wouldn't call those hints about Issue 21 though. That's just ambigious talk designed to flesh out the interview. Besides, we've known about Prometheus' dual persona since the top cow comics and it wouldn't make sense not to continue using the new tech for AV's. So, where's the hints?
I wouldn't have read both pages if I'd known it was just a recap of what we already know.
Maestro Mavius - Infinity
Capt. Biohazrd - PCSAR
Talsor Tech - Talsorian Guard
Keep Calm & Chive On!
The Prometheus bit doesn't flesh it out - it's just 2 extra words, but they open up all kinds of possibilities for the future, especially the Coming Storm and the identity of the Mysterious Letter Writer.

In all this time I'd actually forgotten about The Mysterious Letter writer...
Hmm, Promethesus just got more interesting indeed.
I'd always just assummed the letter was written to you by a future you.
As an aside; Do you GG, think TCS will involve the Praetorians or an as of now unknown group?

Fluffy. Very fluffy.
Good PR not very useful for current players.

The latest letter from the MLW on Ramiel's arc says:
"You have no doubt heard the golden voice of the Well. Whatever you do, do not listen to it! It seeks only to control any that it can with the promise of power. Perhaps there is a way around it, but for now, its power must be used." |
In that same letter, the MLW also says:
"As always, seek me out in the Crystal of Ice and Fire. Or... depending on when you are reading this, you may have merely seen me minutes ago." |
One more bit of potential interest is that the MLW seems to suggest that he supplied the the Aspect of the Pillar to the Midnighters that linked to Cimerora - and the whole classical vibe of Cimerora is quite a good fit for a Titan.

The Well of the Furies is trying to protect itself from the Coming Storm, and has made Tyrant it's champion - if we can defeat him, it'll prove to the Well that we're a better bet to protect the multiverse from the Coming Storm than Tyrant is.
Remember that the Well isn't good or evil, it just responds to power, so it'll switch its backing to us rather than Tyrant, just as long as we can prove that we're stonger than him.
Our actions have already gotten the Well's notice, and its favor in some cases, so now we need to take the next step and become its champions by defeating its current champion.

I hope it's a different group. The enemies in TCS have been using Shivans as scouts, and all but decimated the Kheldians (for use as ship fuel!). That points to an extraterrestrial origin. It would be rather anticlimactic if it all turned out to be "Evil Statesman".
The Coming storm is not the Praetorians.
Their connection to it comes form the Well choosing Tyrant as the one to protect the multiverse from the Coming Storm, meaning that we have to defeat him to show the Well that we're better suited to protecting the multiverse from the Coming Storm.

Agreed. The Coming Storm must be really powerful if even the Well is intimidated enough to throw all it's weight behind Cole.

"It was here that Earth's explorers first encountered the mysterious entities of the Shadow Shard. Their threat was implicit and the need to keep them contained became a driving force in the establishment of Tempest Sector. As a representative of Paragon City, you have joined the fight to prevent the denizens of the Shadow Shard from extending their range into your home dimension. Some see their discovery of Primal Earth's dimension as inevitable; a "coming storm" which could rival the Rikti Invasion in destructive potential."

Senior designer Tim "Black Scorpion" Sweeney gave Ten Ton Hammer the skinny on Issue 20 in a recent interview. This two-page interview covers everything from the Incarnate Trials and new Incarnate slots, to the mid-range Task/Strike Forces, and the new League and Team UI. Give it a read here!
