First, I have to say I love this idea, and have a few questions.
Do you want us to post it in this thread, and in the other you mentioned, and send you a PM?
Can we clean up out Bio from the live in game version? I ask because it lacks space, and the Bios tend to not be as detailed as they could be.
Can we submit multiple costume pics for one character. My character has a human form, and then multiple incarnate/avatar forms that he takes for combat. (Yes I play on Virtue)
Do you want out builds? If so I will PM that, as I really don't want to post it on the open boards. Not because it is secret, I just dislike the method of feedback some posters use.

Yan Qing met an Immortal and bargained to become immortal himself. If he could best the Immortal, he'd receive the 'secret to being alive centuries from now.' The Immortal was pleasantly surprised Yan Qing could honor the bargain. However, the Immortal seemingly tricked Yan Qing and gave him an elixir that caused him to be dead but preserved for centuries.
In the late 20th century he was discovered and accidentally revived by archaeologists when there was an unexplained reaction between the elixir and the experimental omicron particle reflection technique used to see inside his body. Since he has awakened, he has not aged and has had amazing powers of recuperation. He may indeed be an Immortal now.

I know I'll have all winners be Elite Bosses, with the top Villain and Hero appearing as AV rank.
Builds won't be a factor until winners are selected. And it's a shame we can't do Power Customization in A/E to really capture the awesomeness of the characters the community creates.

From there you can go to part 2 of Hero arc or pursue the Vigilante arc.
From there, the Hero continues as Hero to the finale.
The Vigilante can return to the finale of Hero or the finale of Villain.
Mind you, I will be purchasing the 5 additional slots... so all 8 of my slots will be dedicated to this series and I will move my immature "Farmville Beatdown" arc to second account at that time.

Okay, in-game since Beta... yet I'm honestly a Rookie on the boards still. Forgive me for not having the foresight to reply to myself after starting the thread to keep updates of submissions. Oh well, better late than never! I don't wanna start a new thread for tracking, so...
Top Heroes (5) / Villains (5) per server (no particular order) in the running (to be updated until 7/4/11):
* denotes submissions containing proof of 50.
This color denotes only that they are locked into the top 5 of that alignment on their server for final selection.
The selections for Top 5 Lock are mainly me indicating these characters are the easiest fit into the story and are not guaranteed winners at this time. Locks are given reward for early participation!
Note that players with multiple submissions will be allowed. However, once a servers list reaches 6 in a category those with multiples are likely to be removed first. In the end, I would like each player to have only 1 eligible submission overall.

Arno Achilles Stone was born January 3rd, 1969 to Mary and Walter Stone at the M. Harvey Medical Center in the Founders' Fall district of Paragon City and from an early age it was apparent that Arno possessed a keen intellect and a natural predilection toward things mechanical. As a child, Arno was able to build fairly complex mechanical devices scavenged from a variety of materials found around his home. By his teens, Arno had an uncanny grasp in several disciplines of engineering and by the time he had completed high school was considered a prodigy. Arno's college years were no less productive as his insatiable drive for knowledge and inventive genius allowed the young Arno to surpass his peers and teachers.
During Arno's time in college, he had invented and patented several new technologies and used the gains from his inventions to provide the startup capital for an engineering firm. During this time Arno would meet the love of his life, Samantha Smith, who worked as a paralegal for his father's practice. The attraction was instant and mutual and despite a long courtship, the two were married after Arno had successfully matured his small firm into the much larger Advanced Cybernetics and Dynamics Industrial (ACADI).
ACADI's primary business was in developing ultra high performance materials and processes for use in advanced prosthetic devices of all sorts, from artificial limbs to sensory replacements. The company also branched out into several other areas of engineering, including working for DARPA in the development of powered exoskeletons. ACADI had prospered until the rikti invasion. While the primary business was more important than ever, Arno also realized that the resources of his company could also be used to help stem or eliminate the rikti threat. After the war, Arno leveraged his company's relationship with the government to acquire research projects based on captured rikti technology for both the military and civilian sectors. The act did not come without consequences as one of ACADI's chief rivals, Crey Industries, took notice after their monopoly on captured rikti tech was lost.
Initially, Crey complained bitterly and sought legal action in an effort to prevent Arno and ACADI from carrying out their program. When that failed, Crey offered to buy ACADI from Arno with the promise of a healthy fortune. Despite the offer, Arno remained faithful to his employees and his business. After which Crey again made an offer and again Arno refused. Ultimately Crey began an illicit campaign to undermine ACADI itself, force Arno out and liquidate the business gaining its contracts and developments for itself.
The plan like the offer proved unsuccessful, forcing Crey to step up its actions against ACADI which resulted in a manufactured publicity stunt between Crey's own Paragon Protectors and the Freakshow. The effort was staged near the ACADI campus in Independence Port and was designed to heavily damage the property and create several casualties. The plan proved partly successful as property damage was kept to a minimum, however the latter part of the action had proved incredibly successful as Arno's wife had been caught in the crossfire and sustained severe injuries which resulted in her death while Arno watched helplessly from a distance.
Almost immediately after, it was made known to Arno that the event had been no accident and that it wouldn't be the last unless Arno capitulated. A grieving Arno instead choose to again take the huge conglomerate on in a more direct fashion. Retreating to his private lab and the advanced concepts and research division of ACADI, Arno pooled the best minds and resources of his company to take a previous program to a new level. Arno reopened Project: WarMain (the original internal codename for the powered exoskeleton DARPA project) and in less than a year had a working model that had completely eclipsed any previous work. The effort produced the mark one alpha powered exoskeleton dubbed "WarMain".
Arno had originally planned to don the armor and go after Crey directly, however the Outbreak riot proved a more immediate threat. After helping the authorities in the riot, Arno realized he didn't have the skills or talent necessary to take Crey on directly. Instead the fledgling hero decided to take to the streets of Paragon city in an effort to hone his skills and perfect his armor.
While unable to put an end to Crey Industries and its illegal operations, Arno in the guise of WarMain has been an ever present thorn in their side, setting them back on several occasions, including the personal capture of Countess Crey herself. Ultimately, Arno realized no measure of personal revenge would bring his dead wife back. Instead Arno as WarMain works with other heroes and his company in an effort to make Paragon City and the world a better safer place.

Bio:Billy Lee Black saved the world, and stopped it from becoming a weapon due to the machinations of Deus. I've always HATED Billy, and his father Jeremiah. They're both goody-twoshoes pretending to be bad. "Oh, look at me, I found the Godson gun, I can do anything!" Big whoop, Billy. You're nothing. Your father left your mother to die, at the hands of the reapers that his country created. Did you know that? Your father lived in another dimension for a long time, and his countrymen gave Deus the raw material it needed to transform the world. Your and your Anima, your Animus. That's how you saved the world. With technology from a civilization dead for 4,000 years. While I have built all I've got from scratch. I rely on my own abilities. And now that you've gotten Deus out of the way, I can take you down. And the rest of the world, too.
Other info:
Sally was designed as a foil to Billy Lee Black from Xenogears. Her defining feature is hypocrisy; while she claims to have climbed to the top on her own merit, rather than 'simply' finding a powerful gun like Billy (though she glosses over the effort he had to put into learning his marksmanship), she accomplishes her goals with an army of lackeys to do all of the real work for her. Sally will steal the P.L.O.T. Device while the punks under her command deal with two rooms full of very angry Longbow.
Sally has also bonded herself with an unnamed demon (the 4th costume, above, is for when she releases the [Demonic Aura]), from whence she gained her Dark Miasma powers. And yet she still claims to have gotten to where she is entirely from sheer force of effort... and claims to be a Natural origin villain, too!
Having fought Sally (Army of Me badge, whee!), I can say that even a single copy of her as an opponent can be rough, with tohit chances plummeting and an army of Thugs to fight off (and that was at Boss rank). On the other hand, her performance as an ally in the "Me, Myself, and my Other Selves" morality mission has been less than impressive.

Other info:
Anscillect's bio is a progression of PPD reports on this increasingly bizarre mutant (in the purest sense of the word). Anscillect started as a human (presumably), who got caught in the Terra Volta reactor; this is the result.
While Anscillect uses the female character model, its gender is indecipherable.

We referring to something such as Traps? If so, I believe there's a workaround for anything.
Granted, I can't do anything about Epic or Patron Pools in A/E or some Power Pools either.
I figure as long as the essence of the character is captured to the best of A/E's abilities... the creators of the winning guest hero/villain (misc) should be honored quite well.

Summary: A merging of human DNA and nano-technology to create a biological weapon of war, by a covert section of the Longbow.
Enhanced senses and physical attributes as expected, however an unknown x-factor has occured in the subject. While exact details are still a mystery, it deals with the perception and manipulation of temporal energy.
While this creates a considerable boon, caution is advised, power dampeners should never be removed, as the limits to this power are as of yet unknown.
Combined with martial arts and weapons training, she is both a considerable asset and a potential danger.
We also suggest the removal of the subjects parents, Dr. James McClain and his wife, as psyche reports indicate a probability of them trying to free their children from the project.

Well, I can "mimic" Widows in a sense... but can't really mimic SoAs. I don't think costume parts are customizable with the arms with those. Been a while since I tried.
Kheldians would be very boring stuck in their forms... but could do a human form of sorts.
Dunno... the Epic ATs really rely on how strongly the community feels about that. I'm open to suggestions.
I've had this idea in mind since Architect Entertainment (Issue 14) was announced and 6 Issues later, I'm finally going to do it regardless if it's well-accepted or not.
What is it?
- A contest seeking advanced player characters to make a guest appearance in upcoming Architect Entertainment arcs.
- I am accepting RP/non-RP/PvP/etc. character submissions! I'd like to see representatives from all genres if possible.

What I'm looking for:
- Per Server: 1 Hero/1 Villain Winners
- (based on name + costume + bio + show your auras & weapons if you have em!)
- Overall: At least 1 of each AT
- (minus Epic ATs: not customizable in A/E - subject to change based on community feedback, though really don't want generics representing you!)
- Morality: 13 Hero / 13 Villain
- (Vigilante/Rogue welcome as well)
- Requirements: Winners must be level 50
- (for story purposes the characters should be established and powerful, so would like to capture that. Also, I would prefer if they are non-comical in nature. By that I mean, more along the lines of The Joker over The Tick in this case. Not that I don't love me some Tick... just not fitting for this series.)
- Submissions: Post in-game pics including bio here or join us for the Ænvasion coming to your server soon
- (Character bios do not need to be overly complex to qualify. Please indicate their morality and what server they appear on. Contest will end when the Ænvasion is over - July 4th, 2011.)
- Winnings: Appearance in arc, bi-weekly lock = 2 Alignment Merit reward, final prize totals over 1 billion.
- (This is more about noteriety of your creations than the cash, but all 26 winners will be guaranteed a prize valued at 25 million.)

I will be creating "Profile" images from my personal favorite top 5 Hero & top 5 Villain submissions from each server, with the final hero and villain winners to be voted on by the public. Target voting period is July 10th-July 17th.Updated Submissions List (5/23/11)
Notes regarding use of winning submissions:
- These are guest appearances (not to mention large data-sinks) and not required objectives. Not that I'm saying they will be easy to avoid and background at all. Just that no one's going to be "forced" to seek help from or fight your creations. (Optional) objective sound familiar?
- Top Hero and Villain to appear in each finale arc as Arch-Villain (Incarnate) rank as non-required objective.
- Other winners will appear throughout 6 arcs as Elite Boss ranks as non-required objectives.
- Each winner will choose if they want to be Ally or Enemy.
- It will be known any "defeated" winning characters are not "killed".
- Characters will be used in the most respectful manner and attempt to stay true to their "concept" or "background".
- Winner's global handle will be listed in the Souvenir instead of character bio as originally planned.
- Character's group will be (!Server! Universe), for example -> (Virtue Universe). Subject to alteration, based on feedback.
- Winners can E-mail me in game or on boards with speech text they'd like.
- Submit multiple costumes for your "signature" characters if you like, but only one costume per character will be accepted per winner.
- I will take build submissions once winners are determined.
- Builds (power selections) should be submitted by priority, as I will need to balance them for solo players and not to exceed 100% XP/rewards by a great amount.
- I don't have the Beast or Steampunk Booster yet, but do plan on having it by then.

Summary of Story
Basically, a story loosely tied to City of Heroes lore about 2 opposing (magic/spiritual) custom factions that see you (the player) as either a threat or aid to their existence.
Arc Pathes (8 total arcs):
- Hero (Black as Midnight) ---> Hero (2) ---> Hero (3)
- Hero (Black as Midnight) ---> Vigilante ---> Villain (3) or Hero (3)

The initial Hero/Villain arc of each line are pre-50 and do not contain player characters. Winning submissions will appear in 2nd and final arcs. Arcs are designed to be more of a fast-play "adventure" with minimal reading required.If you choose to participate here and not play the arcs, that's totally fine with me. I fully realize A/E isn't for everyone and this isn't a ploy to try to get plays on my arcs... this is more about saying "Hey, this community rocks!"
I'm not an avid Comic Book collector/reader nowadays (thanx economy!), but for what it's worth my darker influences are along the lines of Spawn or Watchmen.
