Fellow Marketeers, we have a problem.
Thousands of characters game wide are afflicted with a horrible ailment.
In fact, it is so bad that a group of us have stepped up to fight the good fight and help them be cured.

What do I speak of you ask?
Why, Demonic Threat Reports are clogging their market inventory!

Look at that, isn't that awful!? Please join us in helping to end this threat.
Just buy a few hundred and delete them and the world will be a better place for everyone.

Please, think of the children.

Thank you

I saw you guys chatting about that on the channel and I applaud. I did the same thing with mathematic proofs a week or so ago. It took me an hour or so, but I got rid of every one under vendor price. There were still 22,000 left though.

There were about 8K under 275 inf and 16K over that point.

We seem to have run out of 500's around 11K, although it's hard to tell.

Edit: I bailed when we broke the 10K mark. Not bad considering it started in the 23,000s.

Edit 2: I did leave a few up at a near-reasonable price in case we crashed supply and caused some sort of spike.

Stopping with 6500 left, but they're still selling for 1005.

Most people playing the game don't seem to understand basic economic principles meaning that even if you took it down to 5 left on sale a lot of people would still be bidding/selling at <1,000 inf in the same way that despite many of the "rare" salvages having significantly more for sale than bidding at any given time, the prices never move significantly (or rather, never move significantly because of that, any moves are usually due to people bidding below the "going rate" and others listing at 1 inf).

The way that supply and demand fluctuate in this game, prices should be changing a lot more rapidly than they do for a lot of items.

I would delete 10k+ of em like i did with math proofs but it takes so much time.

Don't worry, I keep placing hundreds of them for sale on the market to help the cause.

Why stop at DTRs. Mathematic Proofs, Regenerating Flesh, Kinetic Weapons?

While doing this to DTRs has been a quickie, do you think the entire inventory of the market could be 500 for sale or less by Monday morning? Do the Ebil Marketeers have that kind of juice?

Even if you could bring all salvages down to 500 or less by Monday, how long would it take to go back to 20+ etc?

It takes hours of concerted effort to buy up thousands and thousands of salvage like this. Also unlike my screenshot DTRs actually started at 23k for sale. Only math proofs even get close to that number. Kin weapons are a bit over half at 12k when I checked last.

So how did this idea work out for you? I am not totally sure but I think I saw more than 8k of these still for sale 2-3 days ago.

Repeat Offenders forever !

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.

For a brief time there were just a handful for sale, but it didn't cause a sudden run on them or anything. At the end I put up a stack of 10 for 101,000 each and they managed to sell before the numbers for sale went back up, lol. But I think they all sold for just over what I listed.

I was part of the great purge, and I don't think it "proved" anything. I think I also got my "sell 1000" items by selling to others in the great purge. Common salvage is, well, common.
