The only time I ever got the Midnight Dodger badge was a team where we had so much stacked Maneuvers and other defense buffs that the whole team was around 100% defense. That and destroy the Director in under a minute made sure none of the bombs actually hit us.

So yeah, in my experience defense helps plenty.

And about Battle Maiden: If she actually regenerated while she was gone, after a minute or two of fighting Champs she should be back to full. It's a safe assumption that she does not regen while she's off the map (back in orbit?)

Sorry, I did not mean to insult you. I only meant to explain why I posted (as opposed to jumping on a bandwagon).

You stated you weren't sure. I was sure and I agreed with you.

My bad - thought I had seen otherwise in my runs.

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.

Have everyone softcap defenses with lucks and hit Director 11 as hard as possible with whatever the team currently has in terms of temp powers might be a good way to have a decent chance defeating him. Of course, you are always subject to the dreaded RNG, but that is to be expected.
I can tell you that with my Ice/FF I'm pretty much soft capped in terms of defence with Personal Force Field. Fire, Ice, and AoE (the important stat) are at 92.8%. I can go through the warehouse bombs without worrying that I'll get killed. If I do get hit through the soft cap (and it does happen), I lose about 10% of my health through Personal Force Field and Dispersion Bubble.

The thing is that if one mine goes, the chances are good that 3-10 others will go off at the same time.

The best method I've seen is to defeat him under 1 minute, before the invisible critters start setting mines. It used to be possible to use things like Force Bubbles and pets to keep the mine critters away, but that has since been corrected.

BTW, if it's not a Master attempt, it's pretty entertaining to run down an aisle past 20-30 bombs and watch them all going off behind you.
Inserted an important word. I agree it is fun to do.

Also, were we ever told by a redname that the time is actually 15 minutes? Maybe they did datamining and came up with some oddball time like 14 or 17 minutes and that's why people have conflicting reports.
There has been much player debate and no developer comment about the requirements that I know of.

I don't know what the requirements are but my team managed to get it on it first and only try with half the team being a PUG. One guy that was leading by proxy asked us not to click the boxes in the second mish so we didn't. He claimed that not getting the temp powers is what lead to the Master Of... I have no clue but has anyone else heard that or is it the "Don't click Glowies in the Reactor" all over again?

The don't touch the temp powers is due to one of the Master of badges requiring that you don't activate the drones and keep them alive. If no one has a temp power to activate the drones, then the drones will stay deactivated.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

I was like 50/50 on what you meant -- once again, I was not sure, but this time I decided to pick a side. Apology accepted and returned in kind.

It's a shame team leaders aren't actually explaining this to their teammates, there might be less confusion over how the game works.

Yep, definitely the simplest method - simple in terms of tactics; it takes advance preparation. After all, if brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough of it.
