I don't have to barter, my girlfriend plays the game along side of me. It's great and so is she!
/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.

I have it all worked out with my girlfriend.
Gaming is my default setting. She is perfectly able to usurp any and all gaming time with fun, food, frolicking or fighting as long as we make a plan and I know about it ahead of time. I am not allowed to use gaming as an excuse to not help bring in the groceries, answer the phone while she is in the bathroom or cooking, or impromptu snuggling if she had a bad day. On the other hand, she is not allowed to make me feel guilty for wasting my free time in the fashion I choose.
