In an ideal world, I'd rather not pay for it either. The amount of customisation this game gives us is a huge selling point so I agree it'd make sense to capitalise on that. However, as I said in the original suggestion, booster packs seem to be the way we're going these days. And yes, I'd still buy it too as I'm a sucker for costumes.
Only since 2008? Only since I12? Heck I've seen people suggesting getting more costume slots since 2004.

One of the very few things that "other superhero MMO which launched in August 2009" did that I've been dying to see copied here was the ability to purchase costume slots for characters. I'll continue to hope that the Devs of this game finally decide it was a good idea and do something like it here.

I have a power armor character who cycles between five different armors, and she'd have more if I could. What I'd LOVE to see is the ability to have huge female models. I would love to have an oversized power armor with a female voice.

I agree with this tread 100%

Personally I just have a bunch of different costumes saved and I switch when the mood strikes me.

Enjoy your day please.

Thankfully we do at least have this cumbersome save/load workaround.
There were many years there when we didn't even have that.

But I openly call it a "cumbersome" workaround to having more costume slots because it can be a complete pain to have to go to a tailor just to "access" your extended wardrobe when you want to do something like take a helmet off or toggle an aura.

There is a prime example of another superhero MMO out there that supports both saving/loading costumes AND the ability to purchase extra costume slots for characters. There's really no justifiable reason why this game couldn't implement both features as well.

This. If the knock-off Superhero MMO(s) can do it, CityOf can, and should, do it better.

Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!

Do want! Most of my characters probably won't use them, but some of them have themed outfits for holiday events, and with more slots I wouldn't have to pay the tailor to load a saved costume every time the season changes. Also, turning auras on and off at will would be fantastic!

Funny, I forgot about the suggestion of this thing called a 'costume change emote'. Wow.
Probably one of the most reasonable proposals for extra costume slots. Plus, it is still an awesome idea!

Even if I am late to the party, I agree with this proposal. I have some 10-15 characters that could benefit from this. I kind of like the closet idea, but it would work even better if we got our apartments we've all been asking for. (Ok I exaggerate, but not by much I think) If we had apartments we could chose a daily wardrobe of a few outfits, and return. Us people who have gotten the clothes horse badge on characters just to show off how much we like the character generator can't be all wrong. There is even the possibility to link it to some sort of badge system like the halloween event. Maybe visit certain places; have it linked to the zone badges? Something like that.

Anyways, have fun!
