1/14 - 930PM EST - Master Tin Mage

Would like to get this "Master Of" out of the way. It has 4 requirements, 1 being more challenging than most others IMO.
Hacker
Midnight Dodger What Dodges at Midnight
Kitty's Got Claws
Army of Neu

The last 2 are easy and don't require anything special. Hacker requires the team to be organized (one person can easily ruin this for everyone if they do not listen). Dodger requires finesse, high defense, cheese or some combination thereof.

For this, I would like to do high defense and cheese.
* Shivans are required. Any other damage pet is helpful if it is available to you. The more pets, the easier time we'll have.
* Warburg Bio nuke is highly encouraged. Again, the more we have, the easier the time.
* Phase power is highly encouraged. Ethreal Shift is fairly cheap. The more AoE defense we have, the less need for this. I'll be using one just so I know I didn't get tripmine'd, ruining the badge for everyone else.
* Flight is nice to have for this approach. Temp flight packs are cheap.

Strategy should be obvious, but will go over it before starting.

1 Me - Scrapper badger
2 Penny - Emp (99.999999% sure)
3 Mental - Cold
4 Cold/FF/Veat
5 Buff/Damage/Veat
6 Debuff/Damage (Holding spot for Hew's brute)
7 Shamster - Traps MM
8 Kobolt - Brute

Sounds like fun, right? RIGHT?!?!?
Interest?

Alts are welcome in case someone doesn't show.

If all goes as planned, the AV will melt in roughly 19.3 seconds.

If I'm around on Friday, then I'm definitely willing. I've got nukes, Shivans and heavies, and I'm perfectly happy dropping them all on a single Malta jerk.

Though the Dodger badge required no pets being KB'd as well? Or does that not count temp pets?

I don't think it counts pets at all, but it definitely doesn't count temp pets. Unless they changed it, in which case I shall bring the wrath of a thousand headbutts upon whomever checked that bit of code in...

In with the namesake.

Voo, sorry, I couldn't be on last night. Didn't get home until after 10, and then didn't feel like doing anything else. I will try to see what I can get tonight, but could end up busy again.

I had to team with Mental because I was bored. I blame you.

(And Chad's a Scrapper, by the way. I don't have any Blasters even remotely close to 50.)

Highly suggest 1 or 2 people who have immobilizes (or holds). Director 11 sometimes decides he likes to run around a lot, so hitting him with benumb + immobs(or holds)= win. Also a few chem nukes would be your friend

Someone said it did on my Tin Mage run, and I thought they knew about it for sure. Not sure what their source of info was, so you know how that is. They could have been wrong.

He has always run like crazy for me. Even with 2 tanks taunting him, he'd run about sometimes, then come back. Makes his badge even more annoying to get.

I just realized my Ice/Cold has the Alpha slot unlocked, but doesn't have a boost built yet. I'm only two shards shy of a Common, so I should be able to do that prior to the run, but if not Mental Giant is on standby.

Hrm, yeah didn't specify that a slotted Alpha is also required.

Still some spots open. The ones highlighted are "would like to have" and not meant to be restrictive.

I'll help if I'm online, but this one is a little past my bedtime. Don't reserve a spot for me.

FWIW, the last Master run I was on didn't involve any temps. We had one teammate Assemble the Team back outside the warehouse after the blinkies were all clicked, then we reentered, pulled Director 11 to the door, and gunned him down from the doorstep. No flying, defense, or Shivan hijinks, and no mines in sight the entire time.

That's the other approach, but the "no mines in sight" was a fluke of some kind depending on when you did this IMO.

And since the glowie badge is required as well, leaving 1 person out really cuts down on the success. But this is the "cheese" method I want to try for the hell of it.

This is the only incarnate badge I am missing... (I might be missing the army badge). I might have some time tonight to jump in and make 1 attempt at it. It seems the bomb badge is difficult to get though as a brute?

The badge isn't individual AFAIK; if anyone on the team gets tickled by a bomb blast, no one gets the badge. So it really doesn't matter what you are.

I'll hold a spot for you just in case. But you must be alpha slotted. Having a shivan is more than encouraged, as well as the other things I pointed out for this particular approach.

I highly recommend getting chem nukes as well. The more the better - to lower his resistance and defense.

Oops, I see that my better half already gave the same advice...

I can pick up a shivan pretty easy. And a rocket. Im currently uncommon slotted. Chem or Bio? I would be bringing Ex if I can make it.

Both if you want. I would prefer Bio for this approach as will be detailed during the TF if it isn't obvious.

Just helpful hint, for most ATs 3 bios will put dmg at over cap.
