We are now accepting submissions for the May AE contest.

Also for you AE lovers...we will be holding an event in Galaxy City on May 28 which will include an AE challenge. Full details for the event are on the Virtue server forum for your perusal but you may want at the very least to check out the AE challenge we will have for everyone.

Entries for the May contest will be accepted until 23:59 Eastern Time on Friday May 20, 2011. The winner will be announced at or shortly after 20:00 Eastern Time Friday May 27, 2011!

There were no entries for the May contest; therefore there is no winner.

There will be a June contest as planned...no theme but since D-Day is June 6 if anyone has an arc or feels like making an arc with a little gesture toward our great veterans I would think it would be appropriate. No extra credit for that; just trying to help get some creative juices flowing out there.

Entries for the June contest may be submitted beginning June 1 and will be accepted until 23:59 Eastern Time on Friday, June 17. The winner will be announced at or shortly after 20:00 Eastern Time on Friday, June 24.

Good luck!

There were no May entries because our arcs didn't work.

I had/have working arcs but was inelligible as I won last month's contest - but yeah, the bug thing has indeed eaten up a lot of our time and concerns. :/

I'm putting up my arc "A Wake For Dead 6" (info in sig), which to some extent could be thought of as being about the debt we owe those who've laid down their lives for us, although it's not specifically about vets.

I have just checked my arcs to see which ones work and which ones don't. I have fixed the arc I entered in April so I'm re-entering it for June:

Arena: (#456200)

Gladiator fights in the arena have degenerated into a propaganda tool in the cold war between the U.S. and the Rogue Isles. You have been assigned as security during the World Championship in St. Martial.

The arc is intended to supplement the anemic official Soldier/Widow arcs so it works best for VEATs and other villains loyal to Arachnos, or people pretending to be loyal to Arachnos.

I know the arc bug had quite a bit to do with the lack of entries...nonetheless I wanted to make sure folks knew the contest would still be held in June despite the hiccup for May.

The winner for this month will be announced a little late...I had to go out of town this week and therefore am a little behind on running all of these; but I think its more important that all submitted arcs get a fair review than announcing the winner by any deadline. The winner WILL be announced by this Sunday evening!

Did I miss what July's theme was going to be or is it theme-less?
