I'll give it a try for this month:

Attack of the Atlantic Kingdom

Arc # 497681

The Atlantic Kingdom, a ruthless undersea military dictatorship, is demanding the United Nations to recognize them as a sovereign nation - a nation that includes the entire Atlantic Ocean! To press their point, they have invaded Paragon City! Is this their plan or is there 'more' to the attack?

We are announcing a themed Arc Contest for one of the upcoming months...December's contest will be Christmas themed.

Christmas is my favorite holiday so I would like to see some great Christmas themed arcs for us to run that month. And as a special bonus...the December grand prize will be doubled to one billion influence. So Merry Christmas writers! Get your mission editor warmed up--I am looking forward to what you all can come up with!

(September's AE contest is not themed)

Congrats, I've been on that arc a lot recently - filming it for my next On Your M-Arc review, and it's a good one.

I've got this in the bag, I hope.
I will look forward to your arc this December.

The September contest is not themed however; entries may be submitted beginning September 1.

Grazz to @Wall of Knight! I just got back from playing this in the AE and boy are my stalker's Energy Melees tired! But in a good way, this arc was fun, spooky and not too hard, just hard enough.

Whoo, thanks! This, along with Bubbawheat's kind review, has actually given back some of my confidence in my writing... it was kind of flagging, although I'm not really sure why- maybe just a rough few months *shrug*

Nice to see that the work I put into it paid off, though. Was fun to do, there's something weirdly appealing about seeing just how far you can push the CoH costume creator for making weirdies, ghosties and goblins.

Two weeks left to submit arcs for this month's contest!

I would like to resubmit #183832 Save the Diver, Save the World - a Coralax story for heroes levels 25-30

I have made some significant changes
- adding a new race (referenced in the canon)
- changing a few mission bosses and allies
- replacing the bomb objectives with something else (based on feedback)
- adding a touch more detail in mob descriptions
- eliminating (I hope) the few remaining typos
- removing many, many (sometimes duplicate) clues
- and ever-so-reluctantly switching it from heroic

(I understand why I received the feedback to make it vigilante--and it should be a "little" unsettling for heroes--but after all, you do save the world without hurting anyone that doesn't deserve it and help a villain on the road to redemption--so I may just change that back. )

Anyway -- hope you have fun playing it! (I sure have making it.)

I'll toss out When The Words Stop - arc #494099 again as I feel it's one of my most-realized and best written.

Thank you for the entries thus far. There is just over a week left to submit your arcs if you wish to participate in the September contest; which is not themed.

And a reminder...December's contest will be themed so be sure to start getting some ideas together for that!

Yikes! I have to change my submitted arc, I tried it out to make sure it wasn't affected by the current AE bug and, yep, it was. So drop that one and I'll submit instead Against The Wickerwork Khan!, arc number in my sig. I checked that one and it's still ok, surprisingly enough.

Congratulations indeed! Don't spend it all in one place.

I have a new arc up. It's a work in progress, really, but what arc isn't? I figure I will enter it in the contest and see what you guys think about it:

ID 522067: "Project Dragon" (Working title.)

You have been invited to a martial arts contest on Tub Ci's secret hidden island. The FBSA has asked you to infiltrate the competition and find out what the Tsoo are up to.

I love the Tsoo and I don't think they get enough action in the game so I decided to make an arc with them. I recommend that you play it with your strongest character and set the difficulty as high as you can manage, to get the proper amount of enemies on the screen at once. Feel free to listen to your favourite kung-fu movie or beat-'em-up game soundtrack while you play it.

Is there a particular theme you're going for this month? I think I might just throw my hat in the ring after I finish tuning up an arc.

Ambush City, Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Ambush - Arc #1043
Strife of the Grave - Arc #3409
Shift - Arc #529411

Congratulations!
Wow and Hurray! Thrilled and honored to have been selected. Glad my continued tweaking and player feedback refined it to the point of being such a solid contender in a field rich with good content.

Hopefully it will bump its plays a few ticks above it's current 19.

I am busy working on another canon inspired arc, though the immediate pressure is off as I can't submit this month.

A heartfelt thanks to the American Legion for supporting the AE system, encouraging authors, and giving additional rewards for our curious and incessant need to create/tweak stories!

There are no themes until December; which is Christmas themed.
