What is your SG pedigree/history?
1. Demon Assassin's: Joined this group my first week of playing, didn't stay very long since the group was not active.
2. Stryke-Force: Met some of my best friends in the game here, started in Kappa but was eventually moved to Main.
3. Dark Order: SG/VG some friends and I had after we left/got kicked from SF, sadly most of them no longer play so it's just used for storage now.
4. DO LFD/Creatures of Night: Have a few characters in there to help out Nator.
First was The Hunters of Paragon
Second was Target Inc.
Third is and always will be Meat Inc. <-- Personal base that makes no sense if you take a tour...
I've also had Characters in The Stoned Templars to help with different things and what not.
Hmmmm I think my first SG was HoJ, I might have been with another group before that when I was still a noob and didnt even know what a SG was ;p Either way, yeah, Bravo Sierra invited me to HoJ way back when, I went on hiatus for a bit to play villain side and then came back a few months later and eventually became a leader.
Villain side I started out in the VG "The Pantheon of Evil" and eventually became the leader of that.
VG died out and I joined up with Rebal Assult Crew, and eventually became a leader of that.
Was also a part of Dark Revolution (cause of the RSFs) and Shadow of a falling hand (a friend's VG that I helped recruit people to), and House of Darkness for a short time,
Quit RAC due to drama, ran with a few other VGs for a while and eventually joined X's personal VG Chaos Faction. Same VG I've been in since.
After returning from Aion last August I created my personal SG, 'The Shinguard' and have stayed in there since, while occassionally helping out in HoJ. But in all senses of the word, I'm a TF freelancer.
Well,
As some remember...it was the first SG that I made my nameplace:
1. Stryke Force- I grew from a member to the leader of a PVP division (that had no PVP allowed !). It took me a while to realize that scooter was using me- called me 2 x a day-changed my cell because of him.
2. Protectors of Neverland (PON), I went to Bud and he gave me a home and several to play with. He had such an impact on the server and #1 hater of scooter.. ..Thank you Bud.
3. Team Web- Enjoyed a group of peeps that excelled my understanding of the game both PVe and Pvp.
4. United Heroes Brigade- Gave me respect for myself and the true ability to understand this game and each toon. Also, they gave me lots of cake/Nibs cookies.
I respect everyone in game, and to that 1 person:
Thank you Jim
5. Order of the Champion- Mah-Ashes still a big part of my gameplay
6. Currently- Horny's Heroes (established 2006) my personal storage base and Horny's Heroes 2 (eat your heart out scooter !) storage overflow.
7. Llewthor's army (Red and Blue) - What can you possibly say wrong about Llew and crew. Love you guys/gals.
Thank you all currently and past and a special thank you to Joel> you always kept my interest in game even while I wasnt in game...PEACE my friend.

Yep seriously..the whole time, if it was not for all the great people in the SG I would have left the game long ago. Some of my fellow SG mates have been in the for HoJ 5+ years, great group of folks and it has been like a second family to me.

From memory, I've only ever been in 2 SGs.
Yeah, you guessed it, Stryke Force was the first... For about a week? Maybe less.
Then my Seppo family came along and The Stoned Templars were born!
No regrets! Well, except for maybe tellin' someone that I knew that they were a dude, while they were pretendin' to be in a Lesbian relationship with another dude. Would've been a funny conversation. XD
Stoned Templars - my new own and family. Such amazing people, never a dull moment.
|
Formed The Stoned Templars with war, jonnie, and ibuds in oct 08.
|
And i 3rd the remark that champion is 1 large sg and everyone has their own storage base.
|
And I'll 2nd this!
I've been in the Legion of Catgirls for over six years, on more than one server (we have at least one chapter on each), and rather strictly moderate their global channel. <.<
'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.
Well I'll just start with when I got this account and began on Champion and not the time before spent playing on my ex roommates 3rd account on some server I would rather forget.
1) DarkGuard - for about 3 weeks got invited in by someone I forget offhand then they stopped playing and never saw anyone on so I moved on.
2) Stryke Force - ( ya me too) There with some of my toons till the end. A team of SFer's wanted a tank for a Posi seemed I was the only one on that morning during it got my invite into Epsilon along with a few other toons and later Main
3) Violent Redemption - only my main tank still in there with her
4) Circle of the True - my own base made it with some RL friends who i got interested in the game and to support my ever growing interest in marketing while i was in SF
5) Order of the Champion - 2 toons who later got deleted so that ended my short time in there
6,7,8,9- Personal Storage and Hoarding bases 2 blue ,1 red on Champ and 1 blue on Virtue
10) The Stoned Templers - Celestial Lord invited me to a team one day when he was with Jonnie Neutron I was on my Cold/Dark def Jonnie was leveling up his Dm /Sd scrap started teaming after that with him(for some strange reason always invited me when i was on my cold lol ) . Then The Stoned Templers were going to do a Masters Itf were short 1 and wanted a cold i was on that night Jonnie sent me a tell. Not too long after that started teaming with them all the time and then they became home and family for me been there ever since.

My original SG was Drreamteam, but I mostly use that as a storage base now that IT and his family are offline. I'm Earthguard at the moment.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
1) Stryke Force (we should form our own support group). Was in SF for about 2 weeks or so then moved on.
2) Celestial Knights - RL friends @LeaderOne and @Avalon1's personal SG, this was the one aforementioned by Cherry. Also think I had a toon or 2 in their VG, Order of the Unseen Hand.
3) Stoned Templars - formed by myself, War, Cherry, and Bud.
4) Reefer Bandits - ST's vg, think I may have a toon or 2 left that I havn't moved to Vig or Hero yet.
5) Circle of Lies - Stone's VG, still have a brute in there I believe.
And I must 4th or 5th or w/e number we're up to on this server being one large SG, I've tested the waters on Virtue, Freedom, and Pinnacle some. Can't I can imagine playing fulltime anywhere else.
You guys ARE rockstars.

PCJL - Was one of the original founders of this group. Great bunch of people with whom I still keep in contact with even though some don't play the game anymore. Mad props to @Duskhammer, @Irish, @Icewing Death, @Stone Godd, @NewGuy, @Kayla Firestorm, and countless others.
HVND - Great group of guys. Some of the best players to ever play in this game in my opinion. @Biotron, @Angelfist, @Kail, @Blue, @Citizen Zero, @Deadly Love, @PerilX, @Avid, @Black Thought, @Incursion, and again countless others.
BOSS - After being away from the game for a long time BOSS gave me a home and it was much appreciated. I have had a blast playing with these guys. Thanks Ultraaman and Myrmydom for having me!
"Yes, Cajun, you CAN have a pony!" - Dusk Hammer (11/11/2008)
I managed to avoid Stryke-Force altogether. My early days are rather hazy, but I remember a few SGs:
1. The Thrill Kill Kult. This was way back in my first year of playing. I joined with my brother.
2. THE BEE HIVE. Good people in here, I seem to recall.
3. Phrost's Phierce Phreedom Phighter Phorce. Much more recent. At one point I had most, if not all of my active toons here. I still have a few there, but sadly few people are ever on.
4. I started up a private SG to have something to do. Learned the ins and outs of base building.
5. Renaissance de la Veritas. I took a lengthy hiatus a few years back, and when I returned I started TFing in earnest. I wound up on teams with RdlV folks a number of times and realized "Wow, they're good." Several hundred Manticores later, I was invited to join. They're great people who have enhanced my appreciation of speed TFs, /e dance6 and the game as a whole.

Every SG I have been in on Champion Server huh? Hmmmmmmmmmmm,
First SG ever was in was " Ninja Paragon Elite " was in it for about 4 and a half months then quit.
Second SG ever was in was " Blade Clan " for about i would have to say 1 month or less, then quit out becuz SF was more active
Third SG ever was in was " SF " Beta Division, I thought LS was like a in-game demi-gawd until I teamed with him and Saw him die constantly in this 1 TF i was in with him.
Fourth SG ever was in was " ProtectorsofNeverland " on and off for about 3 years due to alot of internal drama.
Fifth SG ever was in was my very own created SG " Exile PvP " which is still active today!
Every Vg I have been in on Champion Server huh? Hmmmmmmmmmmm,
First VG ever was in was a storage group of mine named "The Brotherhood of Shadows" gave it to Athena Shadow.
Second VG ever was in was " Elite Legends " then quit the VG about 10min later cuz I found out Elf Stalker was the leader of it.
Third VG ever was in was " Dark Revoultion " This group was my Fav all time VG on champion like ever! TFs / PvP / Farms u name it! Sadly though it died off very very quickly after Neo ( the founder of that VG ) quit the game.
Fourth VG ever was in was " Hidden Star Villiage " that 1 was fun and meet a few peeps i still team with almost every other day. Quit after the activity died off inside the VG.
Fifth VG ever was in was " Shadow of the Falling Hand " they were fun but sadly like most of champions vill population quit the game or moved servers .
Sixth VG ever was in was my own created VG " The Revoultionary Brotherhood " which is still active today!

1. Templars of Steel
2. Darkguard
3. Personal SG
3.5 lots of toons back in Darkguard
although I've had toons in other SGs as well--UHB, UHB's Kheldian arm.
With Champion being a community server, I prefer my own SG and private base nowadays though. Love the DG folks still however!
I actually did not start out on Champion. I started on Triumph with a large group of RL friends I formed the "Knights of Scion" there. Many, if not all, of them have sinced moved on to other things but the SG remains.
About three years ago some of us ventured off Triumph and created some ICE flavored toons on Champion. The "Pop Sicles" were born. So Champion became our unofficial second home, but basically for Ice Toons. In the two years since I'm been "promoted" to Leader of this SG, attrition being what it is.
Since moving to Champion as my primary server I've met so many great people: Llewthor, Slacker, Trev, Volcanic Storm, Kickin' Cowgirl, Force...Even Dollar I guess. And the community is great: Cobalt, SteelDominator, AngieB, Cherry, Talon, Celestial Lord, Amy...So many great people I'm sure I'm forgetting. I'm very happy to be here and help out anytime.
As an aside I'd like give everyone here Props, not that you need it....I spent a couple hours getting the Incarnate slots open on my 50's on Triumph and "lucked" into a Hami Raid on the Hive. It "started" at 4:00PM but the zone never peaked (I think when it ended there were 33 people in zone). The raid was successful but didn't finish till 6:00PM. The Monster hunt was at 2:00PM so Hami was already up. It was nothing like the efficient raids on Champ. (I also did try a MS Raid also a couple weeks ago, Props to CL and all for great productive MS Raids also.)
You Guys and Gals ROCK!!!

The Heroic Origins of T-Spiker Arc ID: 246162
1st: Rogue Faction; created with a few friends of mine from Auto Assault, when we started to play CoX. Only left when after a long haitus, I came back to the game and they had all quit/switched servers.
2nd: United Villains Brigade; joined after returning to the game, after my friends had left. I wanted to see about making new friends and a friend referred UVB. After joining, I couldn't really settle in (not their fault), and switched VGs when I made friends elsewhere.
3rd: The Hidden Star Village; joined, and stayed, for about two years. Eventually became the largest prestige earner. But after a time, the VG went inactive. There're still a few lying around, but perhaps only one or two; the leaders have long since left -- one no longer plays the game, the other frequents Freedom for PvP and is still only rarely on now.
4th: Languishing Vitality (VG)/Natural Foundation (SG): Storage bases that I share with my boyfriend. I feel I no longer need to belong to any particular SG/VG, and while it might be tempting to join one from time to time, I'd probably go back to moving my chars back into my storage bases.
1) The Sandmen- My first SG was a small group called the Sandmen. Looking back on it, we were so spectacularly naive about the game and how to play, but good lord did we have a lot of crazy fun doing it.
Then I took a short break from the game to deal with some family health issues. When I came back, most of the Sandmen were gone, so I was SG-less for a while.
2) B.O.S.S.- Myr and crew invited me in, and I've been there ever since. Sorry about that guys, if only you had known then what you were getting into... suckers!!
Seriously though, love the BOSS gang. Not as many of us left, but its hard to beat a good veteran team when we pull one together.

1st) SG were ones I have create and keep alive today (darkben - Champ. Aliance
2) Big bad VG - I use this with my static toons
3) Pingu's
4) Shopping list SG ( Still have yet to get a 50 in this SG - been made into my personal storage for Hami-o and other high value IO I have).
5) Pockets - Random lol names / group
6) PF/VL - Raids and group I run with alot.
Still active in all, someone has to keep the lights on.
Lead Squirrel at Dr. E Spider robotic site #643
Nothing saids its your spot like an ourob. Portal dropped on the ground.
first SG? Uh it was Justice Force (but not the one thats all caps that I still see occasionally running around. It was the regular spelling, no caps) And this was before I had CoV so I didn't even see or use the base with this one.
Made my own with a friend, that lasted about a month (Nautical Heroes, he had a thing for boats.. idk, I didn't ask).
UHB (briefly held second in command. Long story, not worth the effort)
Alliance of Villains (no one plays anymore but I still try to keep the lights on here)
Team Web
Theconnectionclan.net (its pretty much my SG with a couple of friends who play infrequently. I use it for storage since I tend to hoard everything. Redside I have Hidden Shadow Village as my personal storage closet. And yes theconnectionclan.net is an actual website)
Finally just recently, I joined after finding myself on a ton of TF's with them and realizing that I liked everyone that I teamed with from there. Mostly I blame Horus. Just because I can.
1. I started off on the Liberty server, and by mid-2005, I joined the Sons and Daughters of Liberty. It was a good, friendly group of semi-hardcore players that taught me how to play the game. Sadly, by late 2006 / early 2007, all but three left City of Heroes, and the other two remaining switched servers to Virtue, leaving only moi. I took a year or so long break from the game myself at this point.
2. In late 2007, I came back to City of Heroes, and switched servers to Champion. I started off playing red side exclusively, and mostly Masterminds, so I wound up mostly soloing. After a while of playing by myself, I started a second account and used it to form my own personal SG - Haven Syndicate. I still have one toon in it as I spent a couple of years slowly building prestige and a base, and I can't get myself to get rid of it. :P
3. In mid-2009, I started playing blue side again, and as a result, actually started playing the game with other people again. Shocker! I started playing with Family Stone, Cherry, Jonnie Neutron, Fanged Knight, and the other Stoned Templars. After a while, Cherry recommended that I check out Renaissance de la Veritas - where I've been ever since. Amy, Horus, Kahlan, and the rest are an awesome bunch of people, and I'm proud to be a part of RdlV. I also consider myself an associate or honorary member of The Stoned Templars - another fine group of people. I'm so glad I'm part of the two best supergroups around, imo. The game is a lot more fun when you play it with other people.
@Celestial Lord and @Celestial Lord Too
OF the other SG's I've dealt with since then, I give great props to UHB, HoJ, RDLV, The Crazy Pingus, and HSO. These groups have always been a pleasure to run with and I appreciate all they do for the game.
As Ashy said... I too started in the Impervious Pimps group then moved to UHB where I have been ever since! I am very thankful to have met tons of people to game with and not have to SG jump around the place in order to team. Like many have said... Champion is a great support network and I have had the HUGE pleasure of teaming with many people across many SG's! Marvelous!!!
