What is your SG pedigree/history?

Can't remember any of the early ones, severe case of Alt-itis and server-itis in those days, right after issue 2 went live.
First SG I stuck with on champion is The Guardians of Forever, with sg sized capped at 25 then, it spawned The Middle Children of History. It was mostly a parking space for the 50s. When sg size was increased almost everybody moved back to the Guardians. As people left the game, I became the leader of The Middle Children, and, when they hit 365 days of me not seeing them, I booted them. Its mine now. I started without a base and less than 25K prestige.
A few character are in Calibur, unfortunately it is also seeing a decline in activity.
On the villain side, was in an VG with my rad/kin from the day CoV went live, wish I could remember the name. Left that group and went searching for another VG, unfortunately I7 came out, and, I was with out a VG since everybody wanted my kin, but would not invite my Dom. Finally gave up looking for a VG, created The Forgotten Children.
I have inherited SGs on other servers, some I left behind with the free server transfer, down to having character on 7 servers. My favorite though is on Triumph; The Sausage Party

Finally just recently, I joined Rdlv after finding myself on a ton of TF's with them and realizing that I liked everyone that I teamed with from there. Mostly I blame Horus....Mostly. Just because I can.
That was a happy dance day!

This is so true ; )

Since day one on the game I would add players I enjoyed teaming with to my friends list.(so my friends list was all I thought I ever needed) One of these friends Jerico Jones introduced me to a character named COORS.

COORS asked me if I wanted to join a S.G. as he had just created one and J.J had joined. I said I'd give it some thought. (Really I didn't understand what being in a S.G ment).

Later on J.J. explained how being in A S.G would make T.F's easier plus I could change my characters look/colors in S.G mode..of course then I was sold ; ). Si was now a member of "The Wrecking Crew".

Sadly within a month I realized I didn't seem to play at the same times as the other members.

It was another friend Bio-Harzard that introduced me to Dinah Might. I found a group that played when I did. Long story short I became a" Pillar of Might" and I still am.

Yeah, BMT's my real SG.
This.

Amen brotha.

I joined Heroes Inc. in 2005, very soon after its founding by Jayle Bate. All of my toons since then have been in H.I. I took a semi-leadership role early on and for years H.I. thrived. We had two main divisions, and a retirement home SG for our 50s out to pasture. But H.I. has since fallen on rougher times. Through player attrition over time and absence of active recruiting, we're probably down to around 3-5 sporadic players, and it is rare to actually catch one another online. Most of the time it feels like a solo SG with a gigantic, fully stocked base. The funny thing is that even after years of neglect, we were still in the top 100 last time I looked. We all know-- prestige generation is such a hugely important part of this game.

I play a lot of pugs and BMT rocks for putting together task forces. Campion server events are awesome and are a lot less hassle than trying to run a large SG. Thanks and cheers to our fearless community organizers, to all I've teamed with in the past, and to all those I'll team with in the future.

HA When we 1st moved to Champion I wanted to make Champion Alliance. Had seemed only fitting it being Champion Server. But seeing how it was taken I kept Victory Alliance as a symbol of how much we'd accomplished.

Day #1 : You would've found me on Pinnacle roaming around on either an Electric/Electric Blaster (character #1) or a Rad/Rad Defender (character #2) neither of them were in a Super Group

Day #2: You would've found me on my (yet to be known) first lv50 Empathy/Psionic Defender "Most Amazing Healer", the very same day I joined my home forever, Order of the Champion. I was invited by Hunter B a Sonic/Devices blaster that I remember so clearly I could make you the exact costume today, OtC was home . I've been here for 51 months (on and off) wouldn't change a thing, back in February of 2006 the leader of OTC left the Super groups to me. A dead group with me as the only member. I've now made it a home for my friends and whoever else we happen to encounter that might be looking for a place to stay, (base rent is only 1 billion influence per item placed so just let me know if your interested, ahah).

Nowadays you'll usually find Myself (@MAH) , @4shes, @Brutal, and @Black Tabby wearing our tags and a few others we picked up along the way. Special thanks to @NATOR/@ROTAN for taking care of the Super groups while I was away at my 1st semester of college, coincidentally, NATOR and I were both members of OTC before he even remembers :P

Here and there I've taken a character out to go help other Super groups with prestige, healing badges, whatever it may be other than that I've stayed true to OTC.

I also agree that the Champion server is a large Super group with a bunch of individual storage bins. In Fact, I'm always finding myself struggling to decide who to coalition with because I'm always finding somebody new I want to add but I can't because I'm full

I still don't remember being in there, at the time you say... but oh well. LOL!!!

I used to be in my uncles SG "Biffs Super Group" but it got so inactive I got sick of it and start my own which is pretty active

My first SG was The Eternal Shadows. It was awwesome and I learned a tonne about the game form Subzero Fogger and other members.

I left to help Doctor Evermind build a new SG named Faux Pas, which he had been invited to by it's founder (a guy named Slid). Faux Pas is still alive and well.

Other SGs I've been in or am in are:

Faux Pas Elite - for storage
Blackguards - tend to look after the base when Demmy vanishes
Haven - heroside SG/base
Hammers of Justice - my main visits there sometimes
Hidden Star Village
Also a couple of other SGs where a newbie has wanted help starting a base, but then vanished, leaving me with their basics base tee hee.

The Widow's Dark Hand - leader of Faux Pas
Champion Server
Tee Hee!

1. The Avalanche (Created it for some of my friends for a few years before SF was created.)
2. Stryke-Force Kappa (Was division head because was recruited by Stryker to run it. Around the same time Amy got moved into alpha division. Long story, one of my friends who founded my SG had returned and joined SF because its activity and referred my to Stryker which I negotiated with and had certain exemptions from duties the other division heads.)
3. Went back to Avalanche after I decided SF wasn't for me and stayed there ever since.

hero SG:
Marduke - started with my brother and our "various" accounts - since dissolved
UHB - Joined this when there was a trio of founding fathers. Good group, just got too big
Watchmen (later renamed the Huntsmen, I'm sure you can guess why) - couple of toons in when I left the game for 1.5 yrs.
MulkyBros - Solo SG with all my "hero" toons currently.

Villain SG:
Doom Phalanx - UHB, TOD, JCL, Knight's templar, Apprehension, Inc's (? can't recall if they had members) all started a villain sg together back when COV first came out. Unfortunately the concept was good but each group wanted their own villain sg so it quickly dissolved.
UVB - Was fun group, left them on good terms.
Hangmen - villain sg of the watchmen/huntsmen, good times as well.
BMB - (Bad Mulky Bros) solo SG will all my villain toons currently.

1) 1st few months was A.T.O (active team only)
which was a group a people i met when i started playing. Most notable being @Electrohawk my longest friend/ally in game(retired).

2)Sadistic Asylum
When cov hit I played in that sg on my corr until i returned to heroside after hitting the lvl cap of 40.

3)Stryke-Force
I joined because one of my friends from A.T.O joined, then i met Stryker and quit within the 1st few days

4) S.H.A.R.P
The SG I created. Which was open to public but not very successful. It stood against the ideals of SG#3. (S.uper H.eroes A.gaisnt R.aising P.restige). It was meant to allow members to be apart of a group that didn't require them to have to earn prestige, the important thing was to have fun. (The acronym is also a tribute to SG#1) This is my current SG, which i basically occupy alone now.

5)Order of the Champion
I am not an official member of OtC. But i really enjoy hanging out with the entire group so im still apart of the group

1= Odins Reavers was a small, all-arcane SG I managed with a friend of mine, but then he left the game suddenly...

2= Protectors of Neverland. I was happy to help manage this leading SG off and on for several years, they taught me a lot of what I know about the game.

3= Stryke Force. I was a division head there as well, but Stryker eventually "relieved" me of command, as I only invited quality players rather than fill up the roster with newb kids...

4= the Earthguard. Happily, I have also made friends with Marut and the other mature members of this relaxed SG...

5= in between, I have maintained my own storage SG with a very nice base; I only invite a few select, trusted friends to be members here.

...and that about cover it, 63 months worth of fighting evil in the city.

1. Stryke Force
2. Coven of Witches (still a member)
3. Time Patrol
4. Protectors of Neverland
5. Hammers of Justice
6. Divine Retribution (current home for most toons blueside).

Redside:
1. Alliance of Villains
2. Big Bads
3. First Ladies
(active toons in all three)

I have so many toons I've almost always been willing to join any group that has been willing to invite me.
