As far as I understand, they were originally intended to have a sexual relationship but Megan hadn't been intended to be Marcus's granddaughter. It wasn't until a not entirely well thought out retcon of who Maiden Justice was that the relationship became questionable. Also, Tyrant's background makes a bit more sense if he hadn't married Monica and Dominatrix wasn't his granddaughter.

Can we get a forum option where threads that have been ruined by rampant are marked so they can be safely avoided?

It just gets so confusing. Is Supergirl now A) Kal-El's cousin B) Kal-El's babysitter C) A blob of protoplasm D) Who? Never existed! ??

Definitely not a ret-con fan here. As for the Tyrant/Domanatrix relationship, I suspect it was an Emmert product, and it was certainly broadly hinted that it was improper, and confirmed as such by the comment about "not wanting to look under THAT rock" in the comics. If it is gone, good riddance, but it never should have been brought up in the first place. The mechanism for doing away with it, however, cannot completely bleach all traces away--Mr. Orwell is surely disappointed.

As for the writers giving "differing weights," that is how you get Doctor Doom and a number of others soundly beaten by Squirrel Girl. Ridiculous.

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

I agree. The unlock should be GR ownership. Costume unlocks, especially when they cannot occur until level 30 or 35, are a PITA. At worst, one character should permanently unlock the entire account, but I would rather not see them at all.

He's talking about same universe, different medium though. What happens in game is "more canon" than the comics. I don't remember them hinting about anything between the two in game so not really a ret-con. In a comic it'd be what happens in the comic is "more canon" than what happened on the animated tv show or the movie when the source and adaptation differ. You're talking about just what happens in a comic when the writing staff changes...two different things..

Where did that screenshot come from? I now its not on test, because I checked. At least it made sure I was up to date with the most recent patch, but meh.

Anyone have any idea when we'll be getting some of these pieces?

And on the topic of needing more customization options, I'd be more than thrilled if the devs just did a massive costume editor update for I20 or I21. If it requires a lot of staff to accomplish, I really dont need new missions for every update, I'd much rather they focus on making character creation better and more diversified.

What was said at a conference made it sound like they were coming for I19, but Noble Savage said that was a mistake and look for them next issue.

Heck, the IDF didn't even get these costume pieces in time for I19.

Thats true. If you've finished them for the IDF now, I dont understand why you wouldnt release them for players now too. Though they might be adding more parts for us. Wishful thinking I guess.

Exactly what i meant. Look at the decades of Star Wars storylines released in various formats. Movies, comics, novels, videogames, TV series, and so on...
It's not uncommon that some of the stories in various media contradict other stories in other media. What is canon is usually based on a standard system of weighting the various stories (movies take precedence over all other sources, this series of novels has precedence over that comics series, the Christmas Special never existed at all, anywhere, even in the real world, etc.), and even if that doesn't clarify matters it always comes down to Word Of God.

As Furio clarified, retcons within a given medium was not what i was referring to in my post.

It took them this long to get the parts done for the male model, there's two other models that require different geomentry.

Making an NPC model is a lot easier then making Player pieces. Look at the way something that is a shared asset for all models like chest symbols sit differently on each model. If you've never noticed it use a tight top like Diablo and notice how Celtic 3 interacts with that chest top differently on all models.

You ever notice how new NPCs get added to the game and then added to the AE an issue later? That's because the Devs have to make a mask for each piece just to allow us to change the colors on NPCs in mission creator.


So the IDF are they on test right now? I wanna see them first hand.

I fear we probably wont be getting the very cool looking chest piece/collar combo, as I cant imagine them including a piece that would clip with capes. Unless they added a section for costumes that had chest pieces with built in capes (kind of like the Arachnos armor for VEATS). Here's hoping though!
