Ramiel not giving incarnate mission...

Sorry if this is already posted, all I could find were threads about the incarnate system after you already unlocked it. I have a level 50 who I want to do the introductory arc with. He has no missions. Every time I talk to him, he says, "Settle anything that you need to finish and then speak with me." Am I missing something that is preventing me from doing the arc? I'm vigilante, if that changes anything.

No missions, you said?

And no arcs open (past or present), not in TF or FB mode, either? Fully and completely trained to level 50 (ie not 49 and leveled)?

Do you have the Ouro port yourself, or did you get there from someone else's portal? Do you need the 'Keeper of Secrets' badge?

No arcs that I see...very rarely do missions with this particular character anymore...no TF...I'm not sure what FB mode is. Been 50 for a while and fully trained. Also in possession of the Oro portal.

Did you do an AE mish recently? You need to be sure to quit/finish out of those things.

FB = Flashback Mode

Can't remember on the AE, but I looked at my Team window and it doesn't have the quit buton on there...just the option to search for teammates and the window for a search comment.

Vigilante and he won't speak to me either, strange.

Dumb question, and one that you probably won't be able to answer/check. Vigilantes and Rogues have access to both sides of the game...is it possible you're somehow in the wrong Ouroboros?

I'm in the hero Oro, came here from Bloody Bay.

Ouro is alignment based so there's no way you could be in the 'wrong ouro'. Bummer to hear about your situation. My main is a Vigilante so I hope this is not some bug specific to a certain alignment.

I'm assuming you've submitted a bug report? Maybe try teaming with someone who's looking to do the arc and see if you can somehow receive it that way?

Just checked, he's saying the exact same thing to all my lvl 50s:"Settle anything that you need to finish and then speak with me." Gonna do a file check and see if that solves anything, maybe the patch didn't fully update or something.

Edit: know what's wrong now, the patcher isn't allowing me to DL the updates, DLer keeps crashing on me.

Hmm, my computer is having insane problems downloading the updates, but I'm on my hubby's comp and he didn't say anything about problems with his...he's already changed his powersets a little. I'm a sad panda.

Turns out i'm having the same problem. I posted something awhile about not being able to pick up missons on this particular character, a level 50 brute who is now full hero. Turns out i can only get certain misssions, like if i did all the paper then the bank one from the DT in PI. I chose harvery miller(?) and can get his missions. And the timed ones in RWZ. But nothing else. As soon as i logged in i got the new contact pop up so i figured i'd be good but now he's just in the inactive tab.

Gona try it out with a few more characters, hopefully that'll work


edit: Tried it with my other 50, scrapper, never switched sides so i have no idea what the problem could be..

Just in case anyone else has this problem, this is the email from the bug report I sent in:

"There are a couple of reasons that your character cannot access Mender Ramiel. One thing to note is that Mender Ramiel and the Incarnate System are features available to level 50 characters on accounts that have purchased the Going Rogue expansion. If you do not have this expansion, you would not have access to this content. Another possibility is that your character has an excessive number of mission arcs which could be preventing it from receiving Mender Ramiel’s arc. Check your contact list and look for the red and yellow book icons next to their names to find those that have open arcs. If you have changed alignment, then these arcs may be from your escrowed contacts."

I still haven't been able to access the missions, but maybe that will help someone else.

So if you have any open arcs, even with no active missions, you cant access him as a contact? That sounds like it could be the reson, in my case possibly, but i was under the assumption that it didn't matter how many open arcs you had, as long as you had mission space. Keep in mind im refering to pure contact arcs, not ouro or AE or anything of the sort.


edit: And I do have GR and both characters have been 50 for a good while.

I have ten open arcs, I was looking in the wrong place. So I'm assuming that ten is the limit, if this is the reason I can't get missions in my situation. I have no idea, though. Guess I'll try to close out some arcs...

**Edit: I just completed one of the open arcs I had..apparently I never went to Cimerora to talk to that guy at the end of the arc. Ramiel is giving me missions now.

Thats weird, i have 10 open as well. Is it possible to abandon arcs?


edit: I gues 10 is the max, i wonder how i would go about completing the arcs on my villain turned hero, sure don't feel like having to swap back over just for that. Not sure how to handle it on that character, he has 10 open arcs, all on inactive villain contacts as well

I have no idea. I got lucky with mine...I just had one mission left and it was a talkie. Maybe find one with one mission left and do an autocomplete if it will let you?

I haven't tested this rigorously, but it seems like you need to have done the Intro to Ouroboros also.

Once an arc is open, you must compelete it. You may be able to abandon the individual missions in the arcs, but no. Arc itself.
