It DOES get a little annoying when I click into a section of the forums and it logs me out. Then when I log back in, the threads with new comments are no longer highlighted.
Not a huge problem, but still quite annoying.
Yeah it's pretty annoying and seems completely random. Some days it doesn't happen at all but other days it'll happen 3 or 4 times within a matter of minutes. I've gotten into the habit of typing out my posts in an offline editor then cutting-n-pasting them into the forum just so that I don't lose anything I type. That's kind of pathetic to say the least.

I find it ironic that I clicked this thread and was logged out. Seriously this bug is annoying.

I have been here a lot the last 2 weeks and never been logged out once.
I am on Firefox and also log in as a Eurpoean memeber.

It sucks trying to keep up with stuff from the open beta also.
I've averaged out about 3 times a day getting logged out for being on the forums for about 8 hours; today, 8 times logged out in 4 hours. ARGH!
All that is on IE; I can't even stay logged in for a minute with Firefox; gave up on that a year ago.
Sometimes I'll go for days at a time with no logouts, then BAM! Multiple logouts in a short period of time.
At least I haven't encountered the "can't log back in either" bug so far today.
Ironically, after being logged in fine all day (for once), I clicked on this thread and got logged out...

It's gotten so bad for me that I've basically stopped using the forums in most cases. I can't click on any link without being automagically logged out again. Any time I post, I have to put a new reply and log in and hope it takes. Took me three shots to get in to be able to post this reply. I had to search for something the other day and it took me the better part of an hour to get the system to keep me logged in for long enough to get to the search results.
To say this forum software is **** would be an upgrade. It's the **** that **** *****. Fix it up right, or don't do it at all.

Curse you lizard man!! I hadn't experienced the bug for weeks and seeing your thread jinxed it!
I have noticed it only seems to log me out on days when I venture into the Annoucements section or the Going Rogue subforum. But that may just be coincidence.

Curious, does anyone ever have the issue of logging back in only to be instantly logged back out? It's happened to me on occasion when I want to make a post, click reply but get logged out, log back in, type up the reply but when I click sumbit, I'm logged out again.
Another issue is, on rare occasions, the dang forums don't recognize my login name/password which is odd because firefox saves mine. All I have to do (usually) is type the first letter and it auto-fills the name and clicking tab auto-fills the password.
I've gone through the 5 chances to login many-a-times with the only solution being to come back later that day and pray...
