You've awakened the Leviathan!

Is the message you would get after beating the Renault Strike Force. You exit from your mission and see the sky darken over and whirlpools form in the water. Oh no, what did you do?! Some civilians watch in horror as a giant creature breaches the water, one of it's eyes missing and it is ready to wreak havoc! You get together several groups of villains to drop this foul creature back to the bottom of the ocean. You don't like the place but it is your home and what would you plunder if it was at the bottom of the ocean?

Basically my idea is that after the Operative Renault Strike Force their would be a zone event where an enraged Leviathan would attack the waters of Sharkhead. I think it would be a nice touch to the Task Force since you did just jab his eye out. Of course the usual badge and 2 merits for defeating the beast.

There's a bit of conflict with the game lore in this idea. The Leviathan is sleeping under (last I checked) the length of Sharkhead Isle. If it woke up entirely, Sharkhead would no doubt be obliterated from it's movements. That would be a bit hard to reconcile.

That said, I agree that they should do more with the Leviathan. What exactly, I don't know, but probably not this.

Heh, quite a parallel to Lusca in some ways. Giant sea creature attacks the 20-25 zone of the city, a port, and whatnot.

Hah, I actually had a dream about the exact same thing happening ages ago.

The whole of Sharkhead was quaking, and pretty much the entire Arachnos army was formed up on the beaches. Mako was busy posing around, explaining how he had everything hand...
Until a giant wave, followed by a titanic, scaled body did the old sea-serpent arch in the sea by the beach.
At which point Makos facade shattered

A mini-Leviathan spawn would be mega awesome, I have to say. Or a coralax sea-serpent Boss that showed up more often. Many mini-Levi's, maybe?

Piercing the Leviatans eye has drained it of much of its power. As such it has reduced in size (still GM-Lusca sized). This has also allowed it to escape.

It'd be pretty cool to have a Godzilla-like attack on Sharkhead, a Kronos Titan size Godzilla-crossed-with-coralax thing rising up and stomping to the other side of the island. Maybe also have The Chimera rise up from beneath Talos now and again too? Walking from one side to the other, if left alone it gets to maybe Spanky's Boardwalk and becomes untargettable before having Talos rise from the water, grab it and pull the thing back down to the watery dephs.

I wonder if our engine could handle animating something that big? The closest comparison is Hamidon and he is stationary. Although, there's no reason he would have to move other than to rise and fall.
