Stargate Universe S02E06

I know these threads aren't really getting used as much now compared to when they used to but apparent;y the episode that just started for the east coast is one that is considered a game changer. Last week we got more proof that Chloe still is changing and this week, the aliens seemingly come to get her. Also, Young ends his decent to rock bottom as well.

There was also an outtake from the episode Awakening that features Lou Diamond Phillips and one of the aliens. Definitely a good long look at one of those aliens he was left behind with. Article also includes how it was made.

Well it was an interesting episode. I like that Rush inadvertently boosted Young's opinion in some people's eyes.

Heroes love redheads. Go Eli!

Kind of creepy that the ship can get into people's heads and influence their dreams.

Pretty good episode, in my opinion. Eli finally got someone interested in him... I really hope they don't go down the typical she's-only-interested-in-the-geek-because-he-has-information-she-wants road. Loved the interaction between Eli and Greer. Reminded me of highschool, actually. I, too, had a confident friend who often tried to help set me up. Granted... it never worked out quite as well as it did for Eli...

Anyway... I'm starting to wonder if Rush will end up becoming the enemy. I haven't seen much of a threat that goes beyond individual episodes and his secrecy is starting to worry me.

Well we still don't know if the ship is actually projecting Franklin or if he is being implanted into Rush's mind similarly to how Young was seeing the battle simulations in his dreams. Next week is bound to have some conflict between Rush and Young again.

It was interesting to see Young have that complete breakdown after giving Chloe up in the third dream where he was just rolling on the floor laughing as all hell broke loose on the rest of the ship.

Personally I'm still trying to figure out why there's a 30 day wait before the episodes 'officially' go up online.

Blockbuster has been doing that a bit with saying that they have stuff a month before Netflix and Redbox. The whole 30 day delay just has something to do with the contracts that were signed regarding digital distribution. I mentioned it before but if anyone wants it, I know of a place that keeps up a constant list of links to videos online.

The change in scheduling to Tuesday nights killed the show for me. On Fridays there was nothing else of interest on, so I was willing to watch it, but I'm not passing on a chance to watch a shows I actually look forward to seeing to watch SGU.

I, too, thought this episode was decent-to-good. In fact, the last two or so episodes have been pretty decent/good.

Also I'm hoping that Ginn (sp?) is liking Eli just because and not for the information/power she (The Alliance) can gain (akin to what Rock Crag said). Although I'm sure they might just do the whole "I only stole/did x because of what the Alliance said they'd do to me/my family if I didn't" at least a little bit with the relationship between Eli/Ginn.

Edit: And I still don't know why Young (or anyone) doesn't just follow Rush to see where he is 'hiding' all the time...I mean come on man...

Just a quick heads up that because Caprica got axed with episodes being delayed immediately, their replay time after Sanctuary now appears to be used by SGU replaying Tuesday's episode.
