I don't even know where i can see my visitor messages if i even have any O.o
Go to your profile (USER CP, near the top left it'll have the option "View Profile").
(On the left also is "Edit Options" - enabling Visitor Messages is about 2/3 down the list, IIRC.)
I had mine turned off for a while because I get enough "ur videos suk" messages via YouTube, I didn't want them cluttering up my profile. I finally turned it back on again.

Now that you've reminded me of Visitor Messages the consequences will never be the same. My use of them most likely will.
Edit: So i went and turned them on just for the hell of it. It seems that most times i've glanced at who has recently viewed my profile it's been at least one mod, so maybe i done goofed up by turning it on. Now i'll get backtraced for sure.

Use something like 'stylish' to append ..."but I'm a frackin moron" to the end of every comment, as per:
