There are other heroes who would have a problem with that; Black Panther, Power Man, Cyborg, Steel...

No clue about those guys. I recall an Arabian style character as well in Marvel .

This Silver Scorpion is in a different universe that I can tell of.

There's also The 99.

I see myself as witty, urbane, highly talented, hugely successful with a keen sense of style. Plus of course my own special brand of modesty.

Hmm, I recall them being mentioned in the forums when they were first announced. I still have not heard anymore about the Hindu super heroes they were trying to make into an MMORPG. Though games are banned discussions.

Kind of liking his new look, the Arabian Knight. I might have to find some more pics of him to use for images of another character of mine.

New look, and now dead. Marvel kills off heroes as fast as DC.

Just give 'em about half an hour, and he'll be back.

Sciricco isn't Muslim? I thought he was muslim. >_>

And land mind? I would of said he survived a terrorist suicide bombing that killed both his parents, while they were walking him out of the store through a back alley!

And then he could rage on about his dead parents (and missing legs), as he rolled the streets looking protecting his city as "The Silver Scorpion"

"I'M SILVER SCORPION!"

Okay, that last line just doesn't have the same ring. But the background is a proven hit!

Marvel already tried the legless superhero bit with El Guapo. It didn't work out so well for him.

I can imagine.

They can't have him miracously walking every few years.

She's still around, but not on a team currently. Last appearance was in this month's X-23. Had dialogue too.

I hope that link works. There is a new hero called Silver Scorpion that is getting ready to debut. A young man in a wheel chair that can control metal with his mind.

It sounds interesting.
Wait, what?
...
That sounds exactly like Schmitt on Union...except he's german. A german guy who, last time I checked, was in a wheelchair until he used psionic metal manipulation and went to fight crime with a shield...
Uncanny.

Sounds sort of like a blending of Roger Bochs and Madison Jeffries.

Well that sucks lol.

edit: The wheel chair is interesting, but at least they are not saying they are the first group to try it. Back in 80's/early90's there came out a new comic called Radioctive Rolling Rock Ants or something like they. They were a TMNT tipoff of course, and they had one of their ants in a wheel chair, with the claims that they were the first group to actually have a super hero in a wheel chair.

Ever hear of Professor X? I mean seriously.

Yeah, but Prof X's "wheelchair" hasn't had wheels in decades.

Also, Chief of the Doom Patrol debutted about three months before Prof X.

*shrug*

Though he charged full force from anti-hero-dom past the moral event horizon a while back, I still think of Black Adam as Arabic.

I miss Dust too. (And that whole era of New X-Men, for that matter.) The international squad in X-Men Legacy currently still seem too forced to me.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

good luck D.B.B.

Yeah, but that is DC comics... *wink*

Seriously, I was never into many of the older DC Comics. I found out about the Doom Patrol while watching the Teen Titans show, and I was a little baffled by it. Just goes to show that the internet is a good thing and helps us research background information.

They did have him travel around on his magic skateboard, right up until they killed him, though. (By Magic Skateboard, I mean his Skateboard was apparently sentient as part of his mutant powers)
