My Beam/Poison Corruptor is sitting in Atlas too.

I was surprised that "Laser Beam" was not taken.

You'll be sprayed plenty. Don't worry.

Also, you can't join this if you aren't even done with the last run

Was fun, if a bit exhausting at the beginning trying to keep up with Hamster. Started in AP with the Habashy arc, moved on to fighting the Vahzilok, then ran Thiery's arc to finish AP. Ran to Kings Row and did a few radio mishes to open up the Safeguard mission; this was the point I had the hardest time keeping up, as both times the bank mission was basically over by the time I got into the zone. Hamster then picked up a Kings Row contact that sent him to the Hollows, so we ran Hollows all the way through Julius's arc before being done for the night.

Got close enough to 15 so that visiting a couple of Atlas exploration badge locations was enough to ding.

I'll also say, leveling with a toon that you know is in a team is a very different experience from leveling someone you're mainly soloing.

Anyway, have a monthly pub quiz to do next week, so hope to join you all again in two weeks!

For the first few runs of Isolators, we were 90 percent defender/controller.

Rule #1 - Do not follow Shamster. There is no need to "keep up" with him. You will enjoy your time infinitely more knowing he's going to bite it every other group. Bonus points knowing whoever else does follow him will also bite it in an extraordinary fashion.

Rule #2 - Voodoo will save the day. Trust Voodoo. Give in to Voodoo. Voodoo knows the path.

Rule #3 - In case of probable confusion, refer to Mental.
bwhahahahahahahaha

!!!I DARE ANYONE TO CONTRADICT THE ABOVE EDICTS!!!

Water blast is pretty fun so far. Going with Water/Pain and forgot how heal-heavy the first part of Pain is, so I don't think I have any Pain powers save the one forced on me. I really enjoy Pain in later levels though, so should be okay. My other thought was either Poison or Thermal, but Poison pissed me off years ago and Thermal has never really impressed me.

I'm not going to outright contradict you. However, I'm going to add a few comments to enhance what you've said...

Anyone who has teamed with Ham understands certain things. One of them is to pick up the leadership pool and make sure that you get vengeance ASAP.

Do this only if you want to find all the beer/liquor gone from your house, your pet pregnant, and your car missing from the garage.

Leave Mental alone! (He's probably off in a corner, lurking in coyote form..)

On to other things. I was trying to remember what version of Iso's this is. 13th?

Also. I too am finding water blast fairly enjoyable. Paired it with poison as I'd never run poison before and thematically it seemed to fit the best.

Actually, things were surprisingly smooth -- about the time we were doing the Kings Row radio mishes, folks started talking in the supergroup channel about how many times they'd face-planted since the start of the night. Hamster noted (correctly) that nobody on his team had been defeated to that point.

Of course, that might have had something to do with the TWO /Time defenders on his team...though given my slowness, I probably contributed more to the 'not faceplanting' part than the 'keeping everyone else alive' part. :P

TA/Archery works better for me as a Corr, even though I know its debuffs are lower. I recall that it drove me nuts trying to solo it as a defender at these low levels, but he's been doing okay.

Still going to pick up Water Blast when I can, but I may stick with this guy for Isos.

How far behind can you be and still run with the team?

In the age of Super-Sidekicking, you can be lvl 1 and run with the 50s. Of course, that would mean people couldn't run certain TFs, and usually it doesn't happen, but there's no hard and fast rule.

Sounds like I'm 12 lvls back after only missing one week.

It's more of a tolerance level rather than an XP level.

So depending on how low your tolerance level is.......

Was doing a TF last night on my stick scrapper and had a water shooter on the team. It was the first time I was a melee being surrounded by all the water effects. If there was more than 1 water blast on the team, it might have been too much to be enjoyable.

I apologize to any melee that are on these teams while I'm drowning bad guys. The other water blasters don't care about you like I do.
