Really. You should get Dragon's Tail it actually does comparable damage to the other PBAoEs

At level 50

Dragon Tail - 81.2
Typhoon's Edge - 78.5
Whirling Sword - 87.5
Burst - 86
Soul Drain - 68
Note: Soul Drain is considered Dark Melee's build up, so with DM you wouldn't get a lot of AoE damage

Also doesn't Eagle's Claw add to criticals now, so if you use that before Dragon Tail, then Dragon Tail should do some great damage.

Am I supposed to slot end reducers in my attacks? On my SS brute I kill so fast I don't even need them and I though scraps were more dps than them.
That's great comparing a SS brute to a MA scrap, seeing how SS has rage and not build up I am not even going to take that comment seriously.

You need to learn some fundamentals before you talk bad about a set or an AT.

For the powers you six slotted, all you need is 3 damage and 1 accuracy. I would find a way to get a 5th slot for 1 end redux, for long recharging powers like Cobra Strike, Eagle's Claw and Crane Kick I would add a sixth slot for recharge.

FYI, I would switch Crane Kick for Axe Kick, Axe Kick does more damage, no KB so you don't have to chase, has a defense debuff, and the Immob is good for the stunned enemies no walking away.

Slotting more than one accuracy is overkill, if you want more acc, you should try more IO sets, getting accuracy with IOs in easy and cheap.

First, I'd get rid of Thunder Kick. If you either have a free respec, or can get on a respec trial team, do it and use it. Change it out for Crippling Axe Kick. CaK does more damage than TK and thus, is better use of your endurance over all.

Until you begin atleast frankenslotting your attacks with set IOs, drop everything down to 1 acc. Your attacks should be slotted a little like this:

Acc, Dam, Dam, End, Dam, Rech.

Get rid of the Force Feedback set IOs from Crane Kick. That set is not built for providing damage, and Crane Kick is one of the best attacks for MA. It should be better slotted for doing damage. I'm guessing you have all the damage portion of the IO set slotted, with your SO, its roughly around 80% damage. You really don't need more knock back than it provides already.

Also you really don't need to End Red. in Tough. One is enough, and I've managed endurance quite fine on many toggle heavy characters without using end reductions on any of their defense or resistance armor toggles at all. Really, your main endurance usage comes from your attacks, especially in a with Regen as your defensive set, you don't have to worry about large end hog toggles like a few other sets have.

With regards to your Regeneration slotting, I'd change a few things as well. With reconstruction, I'd place recharge as a higher priority over healing. Dull pain needs more slots, and even so, I'd the single slot you have with a recharge.

If you are going to use a respec, drop resilience in favor of Instant Healing. Used correctly, the three click powers of Recon, DP, and IH will keep you standing much, much longer than what you have now. Personally, I'd want to have Moment of Glory over Tough as well. Used just prior to entering a large spawn it acts as your alpha strike defense ability. One of Regen's great weaknesses is burst damage, in PvE play, that often arrives in the form of the alpha strike.

Here is a sample build without sets slotted to give you an idea of where to go:

Something not stated yet, I would slot Cobra Strike for disorient over damage. It's really a control power versus a damaging power. The passive type powers, Health and Stamina most noticeably, can be left one slotted and dump those slots into DP, which is criminally underslotted for a level 39.

That was the case before the recent changes. Now Cobra Strike does Crane Kick damage. But you are right, though. I'd try to squeeze in some disorient slotting in there if only so hard targets stay stunned...but not over damage. Need more stun sets with damage options >_>

For Crane Kick, if slotting for KB is what you want, I'd try to at least fit in more damage slotting (an option in some KB sets but not enough alone). It'll knock back a foe out of melee range reguardless so getting more distance isn't a horrible thing.

...but this is all ancillary advice. You should get the basics of slotting down first, such as not 3-slotting for accuracy when 2 should be your max.

yeah cobra strike is definitely a damage power now, one of the best in the set, it's a waste to slot it for disorient imo(going for optimality at least, it's fine if you are going for a controlly set).

I think Thunder Kick gets a bad rap

If you only have SO's, you won't have enough Global recharge to spam 3 high recharge attacks plus storm kick

Thunder Kick animates very quickly, and it has low recharge. Thus on SOs it will allow you to keep attacking without big pauses.

Maybe its personal preference but I hate sitting around getting the BAAAM BAMMM BAAM that you haven't recharged yet.

Definitely ditch the Force Feedback set. If you want to slot a knockback set, go with Kinetic Crash. Great set bonuses, and fairly decent damage enhancement (think mine is around 70% or so with the set 6-slotted, and 170% knockback!).

I'd also recommend some more slots for DP, and picking up MoG for taking alpha strikes.

Tannim's build is pretty much how I'd go with MA/Regen.

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

You can read all the books you want, but nothing will prepare you for marital arts. You need to experience it for yourself, and learn as you go.
