i'm embarrased I didn't know
I did know that, having found it out with a misclick myself long ago, but it's really pretty academic to me. I always have to open up the enhancement tab first to see what I have in there anyway. Yes, even when I darn well know what I just bought, aside from drops, I want to see them first to make sure they're there, I'm paranoid.
The rare times when I just want to go to the enhancement screen for whatever reason, it's just a habit to do it the "long way".
I always "/bind Alt+M Manage".
The slash-command "/manage" takes you there.
Did you know that if you double click the enhancement tab it will take you straight to the management screen, in stead of having to click enhancement then manage?
Maybe everyone else does but I never knew that untill just recently with a missclick. |

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!
I'm more annoyed when I double-click the enhancement button and it takes me right into a combination interface, despite the fact that I don't have anything to combine.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Embarassing?
With my old computer and monitor, my graphics were poor. No big deal, but when IOs came out, I couldn't tell what the graphic was for the Tempered Readiness set.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/File:I..._Readiness.png
I squinted at it and said to myself. "It's a Slow set, but what is that thing? Looks like a toilet seat. That can't be right, can it?"
Now if a fellow can't tell the difference between a toilet seat and a coil of rope, don't let him in your toolshed.

You realize, of course, that a toilet seat graphic would make the Tempered Readiness set all the more hilarious.

I have known about the double click for ages, but yeah I have to say it's not something that's ever been shown is it? I've done the tutorial with every character I've wanted to play - and that means hundreds of times - though I don't clearly remember seeing if it actually SAYS, "hey you can double-click this!"
Anyway lol. toilet seat = win.

I'm embarassed I didn't know...
... that was a dude; seriously, man... I thought you had my back.
... Sister Psyche gets ticked when you call her a Cougar.
... Swan hates it when you refer to the twins as "plumage."
... that doing the Lotus Sit while in hover at the nine o'clock position to Miss Liberty in Atlas will allow you to instantly gain a level every time you type in "Howzaboutadrinkypoo" in broadcast. (Now everyone run to Atlas to see who actually tries it.)
... about Nemesis... my Mom... and that lost weekend in the Alps... but at least now I know why he refers to me as "his little sub-plot."
... about the weather controller who had a mentally-challenged yet beautiful little girl... whom he called his "Hazy Sunshine."
... the Atlas Statue was sponsored by the Paragon City Chiropractic Practitioners Society.
... that the superhero Minotaur had a young and short boy as his sidekick known only as Mini-Taur.
... that Wretch isn't really his name... they just asked him the question while he was listening to a Justin Beiber CD and that was the sound he made.
... about Captain Mako's obsessive bottle nosed dolphin phobia.
... Black Scorpion's armor? Compensating. Definitely compensating.
... that even though Positron can now safely get out of his armor he never had the automatic internal scrubbers and bathers removed. I'm even more embarassed when I approach him and he has that dreamy, far-away smile on his face.
... Mastermind zombies don't swing that way.
... Zombie Apocalypse zombies DO.
... Synapse doesn't wear any underwear under his spandex suit.... and he likes to run really REALLY fast.
... Coyote only offers Galaxy City as an option as a means of tormenting Back Alley Brawler.
... that Croatoan and Pocket D War Witch are two alternate reality versions and the Croatoa War Witch isn't a holographic attempt to "mail it in."
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
Goodbye, I guess.

The thing I just thought of, regarding Black Scorpion, his *****, and his armor, I cannot type for fear of being forever banned from the forums.

I didn't know about the double clicking.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
I remember when a certain friend of mine, who is a hardcore min/maxer, can casually 50 and purple IO a character in less than a week kind of guy, never knew that there was a trash bin in the enhancement screen for tossing old Ehnnies.
I was outraged and jokebanned him from Vent.
He and I aren't friends anymore because of things like that.

But yes. I did know about that enhancement shortcut, discovered through a misclick.

The double click function has always been more annoying than it has been helpful, because I've almost always only ever used it on a misclick. And to boot, the first click doesn't even have to be on a menu item. Try that some time - click on the world somewhere and then quickly click on Enhancements. It'll still take you to the Enhancements Management screen. It's like the system only counts "time since previous click" and "current click on Enhancements," with no regard where the previous click was.
Almost invariably, I'll open the Management screen by accident because I accidentally missed the Enhancements button, corrected and clicked it once.

I have mine bound to O. I used to have it bound to I for Inventory, but I decided to move my out-of-combat binds one key right on the keyboard, so it shifted to O.

I also initially thought it was funny to learn that anyone would ever bother to keybind the "/manage" command to get to that screen. Of course right after I thought that I remembered that I've had the "/info" screen command bound to a key for years. Go figure.

Put me in the camp of people who didn't know there was a way other than double clicking. I never noticed that manage option until this thread.
