ok this is my CURRENT build. IE: The one I'm running to handle the endurance issues without enough purples to offset the recovery+give the recharge for consume to come back faster. If you want what my final build will look like I can post that too, but for now, this farms the Nemesis farm with ease on +1 or +2/x8 OR it'll do fire demons at +4/8 with relative ease.
A lot of people will say +4 is not worth it cause of the HP buff they get, but with the burn un-nerf and the FE buff, footstomp+burn does the job just fine.
Like I said, if you want my final build I'll post it but it's gonna be pricey as hell.

You're looking at using all the purple sets cept the pet one. Giving you Hasten recharging in 127 seconds (slightly longer considering it'll be down 7 seconds before recharged, but not far out of that.)
Healing flames in 11.5 seconds
Footstomp in 5.8
new burn patch every 8.3 seconds
Dark obliteration every 9.28 (Half the damage of FS roughly, but still good damage. Sub the KD proc if you want)
Consume up every minute. Considering it gives a +end recovery buff now, for what...15 seconds? It's plenty to sustain you through the crashes and attack usage.
You dont HAVE To use this build, it's pretty much a sparkley "Look what I have" Kinda thing, but it'll be effective.
Honestly, if the first build works for you (which it should, and does for me for farming) then I'd stick with that and use any purple drops to either tweak it to your liking, or twink out another toon.

Also keep in mind all the recharge times above are with hasten up. They'll be slightly longer than that since hasten isnt perma. The +recharge proc in FS will help with that a little bit but not fully.
Jumping into a mob and FS will almost certaintly give you the +recharge each time. Don't look too much into the fact that hasten does drop and isnt perma. Just don't jump into a mob with footstomp down so you CAN footstomp soon as you mob dive, and you'll do fine.
I recently returned to the game about a month ago and have been strictly been playing on blueside. So last night I dusted off my old SS/FA/MU brute who I used to farm with on the nemesis/TV farm years ago. I havent played him in so long that I didnt even have the oro portal power if that tells you how long. Anyways, I wanted to do some ticket farming and searched fire farm in AE. I figured it would be easy since they would all be fire damage and thats what I'm good at so...
I GOT MY BUTT WHOOPED. SEVERAL TIMES......
I was set at +2/x8. I was getting hit by fire blasters. It was like I didnt even have any fire protection. (yes I had my toggles on) Im pretty sure I forgot how to farm with him. Of course I remember I used to farm mostly with a fire/kin corr which I guess covered up how squishy I was. But now SOLO on this AE farm it was revealed.
I noticed burn has changed the mobs didnt seem to run away freaked out which is nice and it seemed like it was all upfront damage.

Drop stealth and invis (yes, I know it's for the LotG's) and pick up Kick/Punch (and then take it out of your tray) and tough. It makes a difference to the S/L. Trust in that.
Leverage footstomp to keep them on their **** and drop burn and ball lightning when ever they're recharged.
You can probably honestly take electric fences out of your tray as well and just use it for that set mule. It was good when burn scattered the mobs to the 4 winds, but now it just negates the knockdown of footstomp. Knockdown to survive vs the damage, KD wins hands down.
Stamina - 3 slot the performance shifters for the HP bonus.
All Rocos dervish does for you is regen, which you don't need. Switch them out for eradications and use the HP bonus instead. more HP=more life you can leverage before HF is back up.
Also changed your slotting in your shieds for the HP bonus as well.
take the KB protection slot out of CJ (at 50) and put it into footstomp. (doesnt have to be the 50 slot obviously, but thats where I took it from in this build) and replace the run speed IO in SS with the Blessing of the Zephyr KB IO. That will keep you at 12, and give you the Force Feedback +Recharge proc in Footstomp, which will aid you MASSIVELY in the recharge dept.
I kept all your power selections pretty much the same save for those 2 I removed above for tough. This should work find for you. Just remember, footstomp is your friend. Dont slot for defense, as you dont have enough to stack. Footstomp IS your defense and HP is your resistance.

Also, if you don't really die, you can drop RotP for Weave so you have another LotG slot. One last thing I saw in all these builds is that most of the purple sets contain the single damage IO, if you're only slotting 5, that's the one you want to skip, especially on a Brute.

Are the hero APP's available upon respec eventhough I havent gone through the rogue switch? I havent tried so dont know if its an option?
Yes they are. Soon as you hit 41 they open.
I keep RotP. Never know when those hits will all land, or healing flames just isnt up in time. Death happens.
Dropping fences will lose you another purple set.
Dropping RotP Will cost you yet another purple set. (granted, you can pick up boxing and slot it there, but that's still the same ammount of slots and a much less useful power. RotP Causes you to need to die to use, but when you need it you'll be happy you have it)
as for the proc, you could drop the acc/recharge erad for the proc. Sorry I missed that.
Dropping a power and losing that purple set, you need to make sure you can slot that set elsewhere, assuming the power you're subbing out is useful. Purple sets give you the much needed recovery for endurance and recharge for key powers,
Dropping RotP FOR weave, it's taking out the set giving you 4% recovery and 10% recharge for 7.5% recharge (-2.5% difference) and losing out on end recovery.
here is another build i came up with using some of your suggestions. I did pull RoTP but was able to replace it another purple set (apocalypse) in fire blast. The cages was awash since I picked up the immob in Pyre.
I did free up a few slots and dropped in the damage aura and added more procs in it. Also was able to add one slot in burn and added a proc.

First thing that stands out is the apoc set gives you 15% regen (which you dont need) instead of the 4% recovery.
Actually, in looking at these builds I realized my super expensive build is still missing a purple set. The immob one. And you're all going to hell for not noticing it and rubbing it in my face.
However, it's just a trophy build and really not much else that cant be done with any build here. Flavor for your liking. If it works, it works. There's no right or wrong (I mean, there IS a wrong one and I'll be sure to point it out when I see it! Flurry, Jump kick, provoke...for instance. heh)
actually, If you arent gonna use electric fences, then pyre definitely is the way to go. a ST immob for the purple set, a range, and an AoE.

yea I dont see me using the fences now that burn is "fixed" lol. I really like pyre on my tanker and after tonight I'll like it on my brute. My trophy brute felt weak as hell last night. He was pretty badly tarnished after all the changes since I left. Tonight Im taking out the rag and spit shining him back to a glow.

Also, I personally took Char over RoF in my build to slot up Basilisk Gaze, then slotted up Boxing for the 5th purple set.

Just wanted to post, I changed my brute around and boy what a difference. I went Pyre APP and added fighting. I pretty much left the sets like they were originally just to see how it did before I revamped the sets. I ran several farms with only one death which was my fault. I let my endurance runout and dropped toggles before I realized, I was dead.
FS+FB+burn+FS and everything is pretty much dead. I added a chance for knockdown in Fireball, with that and foot stomp, mobs are flopping everywhere.
Over 80+ fire resistance and 50+ s/l has made a huge difference. Thanks for the help.

Well, I like to know what someone wants to do on a toon before i make any comments on the build. So what is it you plan on doing on at toon phase?

If you wanna do just about any normal farm you will be eaten alive as you have no KB protection.
If you plan an AE fire farm you dont need all that S/L def (unless you found one of the bad ones were the dudes are EXTREME and not custom).
If you wanna farm quicky dont get one of the hero APPs get mu, fences and ball is just sick AoE. I guess pyre is ok too i just dont like having to get 2 other powers to get 1 AoE.

Ultra - I was striving for a general build that can take on different types of groups, not just farming fire, and maybe not just farming.
There is 1 KB IO...just not sure its enough. I have read having 30+ s/l Def really helps /Fire out.
I wanted to keep this toon Heroside too btw....hence the APP
Any other comments anyone?
