both willpower and regeneration are considered the top secondaries for pvp, electric is also a good primary, i'd say just to go through mids and do a build of each and see which suits you better
I personally play with a Ninjitsu Stalker, which I like a lot. But like Fluff said, either WP or Regen is good. I don't think you'll go wrong with either of them.

My (personal) most successful Stalker(s) are NB/Nin (on a couple servers).
That said, I've got no knock on */WP, the one I have has been doing just
fine so far. I can't offer an opinion on /Regen as I haven't rolled one of those
yet.
So, I can personally vouch for /WP and /Nin as secondaries that can be
effective. Primaries that I've coupled with those are NB, Spines, and Elec,
so far.

thanks for the info guys. ill start with ele/wp and see how i feel about it after i get to my mid 20's 30's. I was hoping to get some insight to avoid the weeks of grinding 3-4 differnt build and making the common mistakes that come with it.

/wp is good because you can cap hp off of hpt slotting alone and you get perception and a self heal in the set, when slotting io sets go for rech, acc, and dmg bonuses
you'll pretty much want to go with the leviathan pool for hib and sharks
WP is better because of +perception too.
I know many poo poo on it but /elec is also good because of how thin defense can be, plus you get benefits like resisting -recharge, -spedd, telepotation, etc.
Nin, SR, and lolDark also have in-set perception so combined with Tactics + IO you can get pretty close to the percep cap (really only an issue if you're hunting other Stalkers since no other AT can get stealth even close to your percep cap). One could also take the Weapon or Body Mastery APPs and pick up Targeting Drone/FA if they didn't have an in-set percep power, but the Stalker PPPs are so much better than the APPs for the Stalker playstyle it's not even funny.
Dark and Elec are the only trashy Stalker secondaries, EA is passable if you build it really well, SR is good-ish, Nin is nice, Regin is good (but lacks anything except heals and regen to get back into hide), and WP is FotM for a reason.

for stalkers now, shadow meld > hibernate bc there is no sense in having hiber and conceal, it's a waste unless you want to be a bad stalker and just BU+sharks instead of playing how a stalker should (BU+AS). Plus throwing sharks roots ur stalker and if I see you throwing sharks I'm goin to AS ur stalker. Also shadow meld will make people miss you so when you pop invis, it will be as good as phase since their attacks won't suppress ur invis and you will be ale to get into hide faster, thus makin you more survivable.
btw, great choice on /wp if ur gonna pvp

Claws/nrg but ive had him forever and a little over a billion into him. So as +placate+ focus = dead. Low hp runners get bu+ focus= dead. Obviously its not ideal, prolly not as good as some of the other builds but works for me. Also you dont have to worry about getting droned in pvp. Mix in air superiority with focus for pve and u can keep bosses in an endless knockdown situation.
My best pvp stalker? Well I still love my old school em/regen but dm/wp pretty much beats that at everything now and just plain rocks, rocks, rocks, mutha effin rocks.

I've been playing COH for 3 years now and am getting board. so im going over to cov for a bit and really want to make a bad *** stalker. Ive got my primary picked out (electric) and cant decide from regen or WP. which has a better One on One survivability rate? any and all suggestions are greatly welcome. If someone has a better power set combo for stalkers i would love to hear it. i wont be teaming much just doing the solo grind and PvP'ing
