hey all. i want to make a brute to team with my wife and ill be tanking mostly (but i dont want to make a tank lol) so i was wondering if anyone has experience with Energy Aura and stone armor Brutes? what the pros and cons are between the sets? ive made stone armor tanks but i know you loose a little when it becomes a secondary power and i have no exp. with EA.
thanks a lot for your guys help -
Does grant inv. from the concealment power pool work like most other power now? In that if you apply it to one team member or pet it effect everyone else in rang? or is it strictly a single target application? and i would have to apply it to the entire team one at a time?
-
thanks for the help guys. sence im only going to lvl 22 i think ill role a Dark Dark tank and see how the res + 2 self heals work agents a SR Def tank build. As all ways you guys are awesome. thank for the help.
-
Hay all. my wife made about a dozzen toons on the release of I21 and wants to run them all through Both parts of posi TF. I was wondering what would be the best tank build for the negative energy, energy, and toxic damage? ill problably lvl the tank up to 22 and then slot SO's befor i do all the Posi TF .
-
thanks for the info it really helps me now knowing how the powers actually work. your guys rock
-
I was wondering if anyone had a little more info on the power Grounded from Electric Armor. I know it only provides KB protection while you feet are on the ground, But what would happen if i put a Steadfast KB protection in it? Would the KB protection from steadfast be global or would it follow the grounded stats? does Grounded have a effect that prevents end drain (like from zappers)
Thank you guys for all your help. -
tyvm. it just seems that my little tank doesnt seem to hit as many as my wife's lvl 50 scrapper does. mybe its just me. thanks again
-
I made a rather small tank (4ft tall). My question... Is the diameter of Soul Drain base on char. size or is it a set diameter no matter if your char. is 4ft tall or 8ft tall?
-
this is my lvl 50 scrapper fire/shield he was all pimped out a few issues ago so things were a little cheaper then

Thanks for the look and comments. -
I'm not familiar with any of these sets with stalkers. Can someone give me some advice on witch would be better in a PvP zone? can u get the Def of Nin high enough to compensate for the -Def of PvP zones?
if anyone has pros and cons of both sets dealing with single target battles, PvP Bosses AV's etc. If someone has a better suggestion for secondary im all ears plz let me hear what you think. Thanks for your help -
Hi guys its me again. Can someone post a build for this AT? ive been messing with Mid's all morning and come to find out, i suck lol. Just a good starting point would be awesome. all i want to do is Maximize my recharge and def as much as possible, or did i pick the wrong set for that? i all ready have steadfast +def proc, the Gladiator +def proc, and the Panacea proc. My focus is primarily single target PvP 1on1 battles with friends
-
thanks for the info guys. ill start with ele/wp and see how i feel about it after i get to my mid 20's 30's. I was hoping to get some insight to avoid the weeks of grinding 3-4 differnt build and making the common mistakes that come with it.
keep the comments and suggestions coming. thanks -
Hi.
I've been playing COH for 3 years now and am getting board. so im going over to cov for a bit and really want to make a bad *** stalker. Ive got my primary picked out (electric) and cant decide from regen or WP. which has a better One on One survivability rate? any and all suggestions are greatly welcome. If someone has a better power set combo for stalkers i would love to hear it. i wont be teaming much just doing the solo grind and PvP'ing -
Wow Brakner thats kool. props to you on staying with your char. and thanks to all for helping me with this issue. you guys are awsome!
-
ok so your saying the Frontloaded damage is effected my BU FE Assult etc. but not the dot?
-
Frontload? I am not familiar with this term. Whats the Frontload and how does it effect Burn? I also thogh the dot was like .20 or something like that so even if yo doubled it it would still be under 1.0 there for wouldnt show a change on the DOT. (the .20 was just a excample i dont know what the damage is actually)
-
It has changed. I made a fire/ice tank 3 years ago and got him to lvl 43, When they changed burn. I shelved him in hopes they would put it back, and now they have. Ins, FE, and Assault have NO effect on the damage output of Burn. i attacked a boss with Burn, then Burn+3 rages, then Burn+3 rages+FE. all 3 attacks did the same amount of DOT at the same rate. Any idea?
-
Will global +damage effect burn? if i remember correctly damage insp. and powers like BU and Assult do not and with the change they my not even sure if acc effects it anymore. Any ideas?
-
correct, ill be useing ninja run + hurdle for travle power. i pulled all my influence from all my 50s and have about 6 Billion. what im looking for is a decent build with as much regen, def as a priorety. hp is a added bonuse if you can find a place to add some. The build is as u see it, those are pretty much the powers i want, unless you have other suggestions.
-
I've never really been much good with Mid's. Heres my build i came up with and im just not getting the numbers i was hoping for. I want to max out my melee def (range and aoe if possible) while getting as much hp, Regen, and recharge as possible.
Is this even possible to do on a scrapper? I'm not worried about when what power is picked or any of that stuff because ill most likely respec into the build at 50. Take a look and i would love to hear some opinions.
