Not digging Zoe's new look. Too marked of a departure, IMO, from her previous look.

While I'm not going to advocate making it a long term thing, I'm okay with Zoe/Zane as a means to permanently associate Zane with the need to vomit in Jo's mind.

And ... dun dun dun ... someone pops up looking for Grant.

And the "Blinded Me with Science" was great. Starting to wonder what the rest of the GD employees are thinking about Fargo's shift in personality.

I'm starting to feel really bad for Jo since now SARAH, Carter and Zoe are now involved while she gets to stew over Zoe and Zane.

I hope Carter's first line to Stark is "Aren't you dead?".

I have a feeling that a lot of the changes that happened to Eureka are based around the Artifact not being available. Kevin not being autistic and Zane not attracted to Jo seems to be the most noticeable ones.

That can't be entirely true, because of there's no artifact that would mean Kim never died, and if Kim never died than how did Henry end up with Grace?

Did Kim ever end up coming to Eureka in the first place or whereever it was that her and Henry met? Didn't Fargo say that his girlfriend was somewhere else now and married?

In the second episode, they said that the changes to the timeline basically affected only Eureka. The further from town you go, the less things changed. Events that happened outside Eureka, like the discovery of the Artifact and Henry and Kim dating for the first time, still happened. So I think the Artifact still went boom, and Beverly was still discovered as a Consortium spy (otherwise she'd still be running the B&B). Kim could still be alive, but Stark seems to still be 'dead' from the atomic clock incident.

Goodbye, I guess.

I get the feeling all of this is because whats-his-face followed them into the future. It's the same as with the changes fading the farther away from Eureka you go. I can't imagine anything they did in the past would have had any more significant effect than that. At best they would have affected 2 to 3 'steps' into the future before the effect faded. But a man going missing for several years? Every choice he would have made, every event he would have participated it and the people he had influenced... The resulting change would have greatly outweighed anything they did for the few moments they were in the past.

So, we now have a simple (well, plot-wise) solution to their problem. Send old-school back to the past and almost everything goes back to normal. I'm assuming this will happen as a season finale, and the cliff hanger will be the realization that not everything is normal... or perhaps something is even made worse.

Okay, I'll admit that I'm a week behind on Eureka. Yeah, I'll catch up on it with the DVR when I get time.

But I'll miss old-school when he's gone, which seems to be the biggest solution to thier problems, sport.

I have a hunch that Grant was responsible for bringing the artifact to Eureka and its connection with Kevin caused the autism and due to either it or some research as a result of it causes Zane to help out and get close to Jo. The artifact could be the problem that Beverly needs Grant's help with. In one timeline, the artifact was found years ago because Grant found it while it is still missing in the current timeline.
