Match rules such as match settings, banned powers ect are up for a vote by team Captains if necessary. The actual league format and rules that are traditional in most Leagues or against NC Soft's EuLA are not up for vote. Rules that were put in place to keep the BS that happened during the Freedom league from happening here are not up for vote.
It is simple, and why I made it very clear in several posts. I have to enforce the rules 100% regardless of the individual circumstances. If I make an exception here then player x next week that wants to let their brother who just so happens to be an Ex test player play their account or the week after that the player who wants to let their lover play their account will want the exception too. The people that are crying for the exception now will be the first to think it is unfair when an exception is made for someone else. To keep it consistent and fair across the board I am enforcing all rules 100%.
We should all be able to get along and be nice and not have a wall of text for rules. Those that participated in the Freedom league should be able to see why I am being hardcore on consistency regardless of circumstance this time. I want a fair and drama-free event. (yeah I know that is impossible when talking about teh pvp.)
The rules for this event are all there for a reason. Some of the more tedious rules were to keep this fair for the new pvp'r and the casual pvp'r. It is quite common on test leagues and high end leagues to use fillers, share accounts etc. One of the tactics used several times on the Freedom league was to hide on other vents and use fillers. Team walks in expecting a subpar pvp'r to be playing a toon and come to find out some hardcore pvp'r is playing that account. Then who you thought you could farm is no longer farmable. Who you thought you were fighting is not who you were fighting.
I wrote the rules with the intentions of at least keeping that kind of stuff to a minimum. I also wrote them to enforce the EuLA which the PvPEC is supposed to do and what I intend to do.

Well since I have seen the schedule of the first week. All I know its Saturday. Our first match is against Nueronia, hey girl let schedule the time little sooner since I do have a real life which I like go out on the weekends. Can we set the time little early like 1-3pm West Coast? or earlier? let me know what work best for you.

Being it is the first fight week I plan on trying to be at all fights. Let me know when you schedule this one for and I will try to be there. If I am not there then both teams p.m. me on the boards what their lineups are before joining the match. Then both teams p.m. what the other team actually brought to make sure there was no switching or countering unfairly.
The League Ventrilo information and passwords have been p.m.'d to each team captain. Let me know if you didn't receive it or if there is any problems getting on or in your channel.

There is a dedicvated vent server for this event, correct? pretty easy for Kat to see who is on each team, since each team gets it's own channel. I am not a captain, and also not really have ever been on the server so there is no previous drama between me and Bud so it is an outside look in so... I have no problem with Bud listing allof his accounts on the same line whatever, and his nephew playing a toon on one of them. Now as in everyother ladder if you have multiple accounts listed then only one of them can be in a match at one time. He can still participate that way still but only him or Bud can be in a match at a time. You have 4-5 players on a team so if bud isnt in then it is his nephew and 2-3 others, now if him and the captain of the team he is facing each have all 5 people on and agree to do a 5v5 then it should be allowed. If we get our 5th then I would love to do all our matches as 5v5's.....
