Yeah I was going to wait to get finalized scores for the other ranking teams but they dont seem too concerned about that so yeah gratz to dUmb for winning the League. I will get with Mod8 later today to get the prizes rolling.

What are our options with titles...like individual choices vs team, and forum vs in-game? Like, can I say I want my forum title to be "PvP Got Pooped On" while my in-game could be "Don't ask me how I got a gold title?"...but Lib's forum title could be "dUmb actually won something" and his in-game title could be "Ask me for a PL!" or whatever?

Ok here is the prize info and Psoma if you can pass it on to your guys who might not frequent the forums I would appreciate it.

  • Gold titles will be handed out Wednesday 12/15/10 @ 9pm EST. I have to dig through my mailbox to see what title was approved. No you don't get to pick it, I have to get approval on these in advance before the event even starts.
  • Forum titles. You may pick your own individually as long as they are within reason and within forum guidelines. Mod8 says he would like to keep them relevant to the event. Ie. While we all know we pl to get pvp toons a title about pl'n isn't exactly relevant. Lets keep it pvp related and in good taste. Each member needs to send me their choices for title. Send your top 3 choices in order of preference. These must be received by me here on the forums no later than 12/19/10 or else you will just get some generic title instead.
  • Costume codes. Send me a p.m. here on the blueboards with your global name in the subject. Inside please give me a real life email address and I will email them all out as soon as I get them.

I was hoping mine would say "Carried the team, even when I wasn't there" :P

GG's to all out there, was a pretty fun set of matches. Especially the all blaster lineup (that we figured out takes 4 to work)

EK gets the prize for being the only team that was placed in last or 2nd to last that didnt get mad and quit.

Hello Champion Server PeeVeePee-ers,

I recently resubbed CoH after leaving about 18 months ago to play Warhammer. All of my toons are currently on Victory, and as Ive found out, that server is totally dead when it comes to PvP.

I will most likely be transfering my main PvP toon (sonic/em blaster) and I hear that Champion has a really good PvP league...

questions...

-Is this something I could participate in immediately?

-Is this the only arena-type PvP on this server? Victory HAD a regular "fight night" and usually 1-2 arena tournaments a month before I left.

-Do any of the SG/VGs on this server have an arena ladder league? My old SG on Victory HAD one and it was alot of fun.

about me...

-My blaster is very well "enhanced".

-Im semi-familiar with all the post i13 PvP changes and I was very experienced in CoH PvP before I left. Unfortunately, I have yet to do any PvP in the few days Ive been back so there will be some initial rustiness.

-I have vent, of course, and Im well versed in team based PvP as Ive spent the last 18 months playing a PvP MMO - Warhammer.

Any information would be greatly appreciated so feel free to respond in this thread or PM me with any specifics.
