PVPEC -- The League -- Champion Server!

I really don't see the point of making a new league with all the same people from this one. It's just gonna split everyone up and end up in everything falling apart.

We asked you to drop for 2v2's and you declined, which you had the right to. If your only concern other than winning was for everyone to play, you could have rotated who sat out each match, but that's besides the point. If I recall, you guys won the first match. We rolled with two therms the first match and I spent practically the entire match healing, which left no time for spikes. Unless you wanted us to play recklessly and have the results be 12-0 instead of 1-0. So, we decided to change things up and actually have a chance to win with our handicap. And in the 2nd match we came really close in taking Smeede down.

Listen, I don't want 0utcazt to drop from the league, nor was that our intention with our matches last night. I think you guys need to stop taking everything so personal and just have some fun.

Sorry that we didn't play to lose like you wanted us to. If our only intention was to tie, we would've stayed hidden the entire time. Ok so basically first you have a problem with "one person having almighty power over it" but then you have a problem and want me to play almighty when you bombard me to suddenly make rule changes out of the air because it suits your needs at the time?

Lets see, second match (which I watched) you come out of the match. You didn't explain what was going on (and you didn't know I had watched the match) and just bombarded me with demands on a ruling to DQ them for playing an all stalker team. I told you they didn't break any rules, 2 stalkers are allowed and they played 2 stalkers. DUH?? If your memory is any good you will remember that all stalker lineups or any other type of lineup was allowed in the rules and that you guys voted to limit it to 2. The Captains of this League made that rule decision, not me. If it was left up to me all stalker teams would still be allowed because I don't particularly like limiting AT's and if I was going to limit any it would be healers because 3 therms in a 3v3 is lame. Anyways.

Last week it was all about a team getting their lineups in late (which they didn't) because they supposedly lied to you and told you someone wasn't going to play that night and set you up to thinking your lineup was safe then threw that person in at the last minute messing you up.

Couple weeks before that it was a temper tantrum over the 3 ties against Hell's team.

The consistent thing here is every time you lose, or don't win its Kat's fault or the other teams fault rather than it being your fault. Every one on this server knows this is a habitual problem of yours. You want to quit the league, cool saves me an assload of weekly aggravation of having to deal with all the crying and bombarding of tells in game of complaints. You want to start another league, go for it. The only reason I started this one was because a few of you had already tried very unsuccessfully to do that before. I don't participate, I don't get any prizes and it is absolutely no sweat for me to not volunteer my time. Don't think for a minute though that the rules being different in another league are going to change the fact that you are a sore loser and exercise bad sportsmanship and THAT is what the problem is. Not my rules or me not giving in to your demands all the time.

LOL funny hiding for the entire except attacking twice... You even said in broadcast that you doing what have to do cause you down a man... If we were down with two we fough our hearts out. Its stupid good luck with few teams that left.

Match schedule is up a day early. I am not sure if I will be here tomorrow night to post them so they are up early. "IF" any team signs up before tomorrow night then I will change them, if not then they are as is.

Oops just saw this or I would have responded earlier. No I wasn't referring to you at all in fact. Was referring to people who come out of matches screaming "omg kat change rules nao not fair we lost" crap that has been going on.

I agree that the matches last night sucked. Both teams were within the rules but no fun pvp was to be had. There are rules that potentially could be changed to keep that from happening again which I already stated I was open to taking motions on. That being said though changing that rule won't stop the drama because next week it will just be some other rule that omfg kat needs to change nao because some team lost or tied and is crying about it. That is pretty much what I am referring to, people wanting rules changed based on emotions and self preservation rather than wanting them to be changed because its necessary overall for all teams across the league to make the event better or more fun or fair. I know that was not your intentions in fact to be honest dUmb is the most unselfish and easy going team ever in existence in COH, I swear.

Calling Peril a nobody? Really? Even if you think he's not a great PvPer, at least admire that the man is one of the few (until Tuesday) PvP resources left in this game. He has had experience at all levels. You should hope to have played with as many teams and with as many good teammates as Peril has in the past.

Newsflash, our team has will continue to play to have fun. Peril's Fire Blaster may not have done as much damage with all those Fire Shields (if they were used) and even compared to Psy, but he's a part of OUR team and hey, he was part of the winning Freedom PvP league too...and his new team on test wasn't doing too badly either.

There are a lot of people here with overly swelled heads, either about their own skill or whatever. Note that the crap is always coming from one team.
Nothing from dUmb, nothing from us, nothing for Exile, etc. etc.

Kat has been doing a CRAZY good job running this thing in her spare time, no less and all she is getting is **** about people not being happy for whatever reason.

Let's lose the big heads and the ego here.
Let's stop the WHINING.

FFS, just bring something to the Arena, load in and have fun.
Bring AR Blasters or Traps MMs if you want. You get rolled, you get rolled. Laugh it off, show up for your next fight and enjoy yourself.

Is this competitive? Sure it is.
Is it worth THIS much aggravation to Kat or anyone else? Hell no.

If you or Bud or anyone start a 3 v 3, take the lessons from this one and carry them over. There are obvious issues with some line-ups in smaller settings. If all we're doing is continuing to run 2-3 Therms but we're doing it in Bud's League, what's the point? Word is the next one is going to have a draft.

BUT. If you have a draft, you NEED to make everyone play. It's important to the less experienced people that THEY have fun too. Help them with their builds, their evasion, their locking, their IOs, accos.

This league is PvPs last serious chance in this game, most likely.
Don't let it die because of ego conflict over some internet tiff.

Is a team thats 7 points out of 1st place REALLY gonna drop out because of essentially 2 ties? The way those ties came to be is debatable by both teams, that EVERYONE in this league realizes. Outcazt wanted to play everyone that showed and had the backing of the 3v3 ruling. Easy Kills had only 2 people. They still played within the rules as well. The point is...

Both sides were legit. The who was more dooche is irrelevant.
Basically this comes down to 2 things. Availability and omgineed12pointsnao.

My question is this: what's the difference between winning 1 and tying 2 to Easy Kills and winning 1 and losing 2 to dUmb or STA? Nothing. Would that be a problem? Because by my interpretation, Easy Kills did nothing wrong along the lines of the rules alone. So whats the issue? Did you expect 12 points this week? You guys got 8 points which is the same as A&C got this week and A&C were the leaders prior to Saturdays matches. Outcazt is still 7 points from 1st.

This isn't an attack against Bud, Elf or Outcazt. I'm just trying to make sense of why 8 points isn't good enough. What would you run if your 2 damage dealers weren't able to make it? What would STA do if their damage wasn't able to make it? We can accuse teams of running **** lineups if not all the resources are available, but as long as its within the rules, what can you do?

On a side note: Kat closed the rule changes to AT/healer limits. Adjust people. If anyone has issues with 2 therm lineups in a 3v3 setting...please refer to A&C's win 2-0 over Exile running 2 therms this week. It can be done. Changing the ruling almost halfway through the season shows bias. And this is coming from me, being on Exile, that will absolutely steamroll 1 healer teams.

Yeah Saturday I won't be able to make it, Sunday should be good though.

Also is this a bad time to mention Psoma's plan?

Funny thing is I planned on saving this match for you guys for the last week but then after all the nice things you said about me earlier tonight in the thread I had to go ahead and give in and treat you to the ultimate battle. <3
