Silly, but fun: Car-surfing

In games where I'm in a city environment and there's moving cars I can reach, I always like to try this. Jumping on top of a car and riding on top of it, wherever it goes, sometimes trying to jump onto other speeding cars or 'kicking' the car to move faster or go elsewhere.

When I first played City of Heroes and tried to do this, the unfortunate state of the capsule-tech meant I kept slipping off the top of it, even on top of the 6x12ft flat-top vans. Disappointing.

So even if it's very low priority, wouldn't it be great if car-surfing were possible in City of *? Would anybody want to do this even once?

Oh yeah, I've tried to do that on several occasions. Usually ends in just bouncing off the roof of the car or truck...

Spiderman got to hitch rides on cars and subway trains, so have lot of others in comics, television and movies..(for some reason, TV's Beauty and the Beast's protagonist Vincent seemed especially prone to hitching rides on top of subway cars...)

This, and make cars move faster. I mean, really...What the hell is the speed limit in Paragon City? Why are the highways all deserted? We need some serious traffic going on, and now we have the tech to handle that much stuff going on.

I support this idea!

I am making my first attempt at a 'natural' traveller i.e. uses Superjump to emulate grappling hooks and swinging from buildings. Being able to car surf and leap off at appropriate destinations would be ace.

I was quite sad the first time one of my flyers tried to land on the zeppelin in Atlas Park and slid off.

I think I spent quite a bit of time in my first week trying to figure out how to ride on the cars. Only really gave it up when I realized I could slide on rails. Way too much fun.

Already mentionjed it a few times.. including being able to stand on the bleep too.

Someone mentioned having visited the blimp in Atlas Park, I tried to fly up there and stand on it too, it would've made the perfect Mile-High club I think!
