So, I'm burning through paper missions redside on my namesake toon the Killbot 5000, when I encounter this:

Considering the timing of the release of GR in the next few days I found this quirk of the game magnificent!

I don't think three days out from release too early to start chanting 'Going Rogue, Going Rogue!'

But shouldn't that read "Former Paragon Hero Goes Vigilante"?

You know, for the sake of accuracy and all that. :P

MY FAREWELL GIFT

It is never truly gone, as long as there is someone left to remember.

Those types of missions have been around since the launch of CoV, but the fact that two of them are exactly the same is... interesting.

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

Yeah, I was aware they weren't new, but two the same, now what are the odds of that, and on the brink of the Going Rogue release! The coincidence was too much for me to pass up without sharing. It gave me a little thrill anyways.

Three, actually. His third mission choice is to defeat Ursis, which IIRC is a CoT name. It's unusual, but not unheard-of to get three of the same faction. If it's a faction that you hate, you just zone out, zone in and reroll.

No wonder Paragon City is so overrun with crime half thier heroes are Lord Darkitty-Dark-Darkness types and the rest are CoT Mages with registration papers. And 1% ERP'ers in skirts.

Slightly off topic but a curiositity all the same...

Does Killbot 5000 really use walk enough to have it that predominant on your tray? :P

I like that punctuation better.

Please note that quote is not what BBQ actually said. Also no animals were harmed during the composing and production of this post.

Dec out.

Killbot loves to strut? (Gah! I'm starting to think of Futurama-style CoH scenario)

Also: Lol at Decorum.

Are you suggesting that some people don't use [Walk] just as often as their other travel powers?

Heheh, well, although strutting is preprogrammed on all Killbot models 2009 and above, that is a Walk/Sprint macro, I use it for both. It occaissionally makes life interesting when I hit it accidentally in combat!

All the enemies in the paper missions were CoT mages, and they put up little Resistance.

Actually these days you can just pick one, abandon it and get a fresh list.
