Mapserver....Mapserver....Mapserver

Anyone else feel like they're stuck in a Mapserver loop? It's about 7:30p Central and my whole team is stuck in mapserver limbo, and globals are down. On Protector, but I'm guessing it's not just that server.

I don't know if its all servers or not but I can't log into protector right now - I get to the character selection screen, select a character and hit the enter game button and then CoX just hangs there. At first I thought it might be a zone crash - I initially tried with two characters in Cap, but I also tried a hero in paragon and had the same problem.

I have tried on justice and can log in just fine, at least redside - haven't tried blueside there yet but I don't see why it won't work. It looks like something is wrong with protector, possibly other servers but not justice.

Okay, good I thought I was going crazy or something.

Yeah what the hell yo, is this what we have to look forward to next week or you guys gonne get these damn servers in freaking order or what its been like this ever since that one patch a few weeks ago, serious why should i tell my friends to come back to a damn broken game, im pissed yeah i am cause i pay for this game to work and the last 3 weeks have been a total fail!!!!!!!!!!

Champion is going crazy. We were just about to start on the weekly Mothership Raid and suddenly the game turned into a slide show. Globals down, chat lag, movement lag and worst of all for a whole 10 minutes I never regained any endurance or HP, staying at 25% after rezzing form a death.

The lack of any regen told me the game was essentially dead and at some point we were all going to crash then the server would reset. If it's not recording progress on anything then you know there's a real problem and going to be a rollback to the point where things starting freaking out.

Just came here to see if it was just me. Waited 10 minutes for a mission to load, then closed the CoH program down. Re-start the program without having to verify files (odd). Another ten minutes later, and I end up right back at the login screen.

It seems to me that these types of problems are increasing in frequency. Any word from the Devs on the cause?

Same--issues with logging on here, as well. Can't get past the login screen! *sigh* Server crash, anyone? :/ Looks like we have to keep each other company for a while... >.>

So much for leveling my Crab Spider tonight..

...Oh well.. Time to go watch some baseball.

The server status page says all but the test server and protector are up. It lists Protector's status as 'unknown'. Not sure what's going on.

One piece of trivia that I find interesting, and I'm not sure it was announced:

When looking to see what servers were East Coast/West Coast I found out that it seems all the servers are in one location, in Dallas. I guess there's no grouping anymore, so it's more likely that when a big hamster falls off his wheel in the server farm, it will affect the entire game and not just half the servers.

really really wish the dev's would do something i was in the middle of a RV Duel and boom 6 map servs ina row then a disconnect kinda wondering who won that one >.>

Liberty appears to be back. I just logged in, and can move around.

I was running around Eden on Champion when suddenly, whammo: LAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAGLAG!

Still having issues trying to log into the game. Crash, Crash, CRASH.

More crashes here tonight than in most Nascar races.
