It won't be a surprise for most of you. There is always something afoot in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, but this time around, we have strong reasons to suspect that Malta is preparing something big!

Our undercover agent tells us we should get a contingent of super-powered people ready on Thursday, August 12th, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Central / 6:00 p.m. Eastern) but that's all the info they have manage to glean.

Stay focused people and be on the look-out for a transmission in Paragon city and the Rogue Isles to let you know where your help will be needed!

I'd ask what the timezone for this was, but it's a moot point as I imagine most of us will be at work.

Wow.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

If this is at all like the events I've attended before (and something tells me it is), then it'll run for hours.

Will there be food served? I could go for a Malta Meal.

Yeah, I don't get off work until 6 pm Pacific, and even then I don't get on for another 45 minutes to an hour.

Whatever this is, I hope you guys have fun!

By pure coincidence I logged-in just in time for this.

Wasn't run like the usual invasions. I saw a bunch of level 54 boss robots and a few soldiers, but the lag got so bad once things hit the fan it was impossible to pick out anything the size of a PC.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

good luck D.B.B.

My favourite part is the gas missile spam from what seemed like twenty Zeus titans instaholding everyone. Malta might not be a great choice for this sort of thing.

This was a lot of fun, Avatea! Thanks for bringing out that GM spawn tech and putting it to work. My favorite part is definately zoning into Atlas park and seeing about thirty Zeus titans surrounding the dome on city hall. I took a suicidal stab at them for some screenshots.

I hope we'll have another event like this soon. Maybe Rularuu next, like in I2..

Thanks for the love, nice to get some attention.

So what was the requirement on the yellow titles, and what gave some people Celebrity Savior and others Apocalypse Savior?

Atlantis showed Malta it's might.

Thank you Avatea & NC. I don't know what was more fun, defending City Hall (from the dome and inside!) or chasing them down stagger-spawned avenues in Founders.

Man, I log on to just putter around, sell some stuff, and chat with my SG-mates... I zone into Atlas Park and am immediately shot point-blank in the stamper, repeatedly.

I quickly threw a team together, and spent the next 20 minutes or so in an epic battle with Gyrfalcon on the roof of City Hall.

What a fun event! I loved the seeming randomness of it all, the cries of "OMG WHAT'S GOING ON???" in Broadcast, the banding together with strangers to fend off a sudden - and for most, totally unexpected - invasion on our home turf... Even if I was only getting like one frame of animation every four seconds, it was still incredibly cool.

It would be great to see more stuff like this happen.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, for giving us an event that we couldn't just chew through! I had to do my Chumba Wumba impression, because they kept knocking me down, and I kept getting back up again! Me, an IOed to hell Scrapper! I had to use strategy to pull a boss away from the herd and try to get it on it's own! I had to use MoG and Taunt!

This event gets a 9.5 on the ten-scale. It loses half a point for excessive lag.

I was very sad that I missed this. :\

Hopefully, they do one more before this coming Tuesday. :/

Oh god that looks nuts. Good thing I didn't go, my computer would've exploded.

Charging around Founders chasing down the incursions was very fun indeed. It was a bit of a shame the spawns in the plaza that Infernal was in weren't at the same level as the others, as that would've been one hellishly awesome battle.

It's also a bit of a shame I couldn't go to Atlas because the processing power needed would've melted my computer, but that's not the event's fault.
