Poll: What level to park at?
I have 700+ merits on a blaster I've been routinely parking to get every story arc done before I outlevel it. It's been a real pain, but thats not the point. I'm curious as to what the general consensus is to roll these merits and potentially leave parked at - 32, 33, 35? And what level range should I roll for? 30-35?

I have a character temporarily parked at L33. Will un-park him when certain personal criteria are met.

But if you're going to permanently park the character at a middling level, it depends on the character. You want to have your powers slotted sufficiently to make the character effective, so that may mean 33 or 34. And if your level 35 power is important and will be useful with just the one slot, you may want to park at 35.
I park at 33 and 35, generally. Those two levels sell for very good prices. (I think max level still gets you more total money, even though I'm rooting for you to roll early.)

I've always aimed for 33 or 35 for market purposes, though lately, for personal use, I've been convinced to go for 32 (for exemplaring to 25-29 flashbacks). For blue side, I'm almost tempted to go for 31s, to cover Moonfire as well. But both of those are odd levels if you intend to sell, and may move slower.
I tend to park at L28 on a couple characters.
That's a bit sub-optimal for pricing, but I chose it to get IO's that retain
their set bonuses from L25 on (typically for Bloody Bay and on up)

The best answer is don't park, let your character get up to 50 where its earning potential is vastly greater and buy things from people that did park. Seeing as they have the altruistic bent of giving things away at less than their real cost be a sport and oblige them.

Great, now I have to go out & buy a new Failometer. *sigh*
City of Heroes didn't fail, City of Heroes was killed. If a 747 dropped on your house, you'd say you were killed, not you failed to find a safer dwelling.

Ultimately the character will be parked at 35 - At 35, she'll have access to all the Hero TFs (Posi -> Numina) Plus Moonfire, Hess, Katie Hannon, and all the SFs up to Ice Mistral via Side Switching. All rolls will cap at 35 from that pool of merits, which I'm practically guaranteed good dough from.
But I *was* wondering whether 32, 33, or 35 was the optimal choice on rollin'. You all seem split on the answer, so I'mma wait till 35.

I have a 50 in every AT, but Scrappers and Dominators are my favorites.
Last I looked at a sample of rolls, some of them "maxed" at 33 and some "maxed" at 35. So there may not be an optimal choice.
"maxed" in quotes because a lot of them max at 50, depressingly enough.

for some characters, it's not much of a difference but for several of mine, I like having the availability of the last 2 powers from my secondary. you also have 12 more slots in your powers, which usually means at least 3 or 4 more set bonuses in play.
but as Silurian, and some others have noted, you won't get as much for selling things you don't want for your characters. items below their cap level sell for a crazy discount, if they sell at all. while the ability to email items to any of your characters helps out a lot, you need to determine what level works the best for you based on how often you exemp down to certain levels, etc.
I park at 35, because it's a nice round number, which satisfies my OCD, makes stuff I don't want sell faster and makes it easier to buy stuff I didn't get from rolls, which is pretty much everything I want. I also park at 40 for the same reason.
Not that I'm parking again, ever. It's just not worth it to me. But I still roll my merits at 35 and 40.

I have two at 15, one at 24 and I'll soon have one at 35. I had others but I get bored from time to time and unfreeze them.
I enjoy those levels as much as any other, I like ensuring that I have someone at any given level bracket to join my buddies without being extremely over or underpowered, and I like supplying the market.
